Answered Shimano 12 Speed Hyperglide+ with SRAM 12 speed chainring compatibility

Hi,

Anyone have any experience with a Shimano 12 speed Hyperglide+ and a SRAM 12 speed chainring? (Bosch Gen 4 for info)

From reading elsewhere ome folks seem to have installed it no issues, others say you must use a Shimano 12 speed chainring. @Gary any insight at all?

I would buy one right now if it existed. Garbaruk seem to have one but they are calling it shimano 12/sram AXS flattop which is making me unsure. Everyone else says it’s shimano 12 speed only.

i'm telling you it works, i took a chance and ordered up 2 from overseas. The sram link on the shimano chain also SEEMED to work but as cyclopath said the actual shimano chain might be slightly narrower

Did you order direct from Garburuk? How long did it take to come?

Can you post a picture of the Bosch motor and chainring that comes stock please..I only know shimano steps.

Ah balls to it. Ordered a Garbaruk 94 BCD 32t for Shimano 12 speed. I would just worry otherwise. Least il get the bigger chainring I wanted.

yes i'm in the states and it took 10 days i think, i re used the stock bolts without loctite so i just need to check every now and then

Cool, hopefully not to long too the UK then. Went with blue to contrast the orange of my bike. Will add loctite to my shopping list.

Was unaware of this company. Very interesting set of products..too bad the 12 not steel cog on their cassettes aren't replaceable. That would really be great
