Bonjour, quelqu'un à déjà essayé de monté le nouveau Fox X2 sur un vala taille Xl ? Je voudrais être certain que ça passe avec l'extender de batterie.

Seems the new display will be available on the 1st August priced at 250 euros, so I'm guessing will be £250 in the UK

Yikes.
That's fairly pricey in South Pacific Pesos.

At least they’re letting you buy it if this was a specialised bike, you would have to buy a new bike to get hold of it

Finally mounted up a bottle cage. I'm sure it's been called out before but I didn't grok it, so here's a PSA to check your clearances. No evidence that any contact was made at all on the Telum, that thing is built tough. Vorsprung does call this possibility out in their fitment table so full user error case here.

Anyone heard what's going on with range extender kit availability? I know on the SC website it says that a 200mm long cable would be ideal but Bosch doesn't make those, so use a 250mm one. I can't find kits with 250mm cables anywhere in the US, and my dealer has had one backordered from SC since I bought the bike. He showed my the screen from his B2B and all it says is ETA 6/2/25 which has obviously passed. SC confirmed with me that the 150mm cables are too short.

Not that it's much help but they are freely available in the UK

The Path has a few in stock, just got the notification a day or two ago. Only word I've heard is they sell fast when they're available.

Thanks. Just trying to get a sense on if they are moving around. I'll wait for the shop to get the ones he ordered for me since he hooks me up with a solid discount.

For those who've fit a range extender, how did you orient the mounting adapter (middle of attached photo)? The bracket itself is labeled "top" but the plate is not and I'm having trouble finding any information on it.

- EDIT -

I moved my set screws from the range extender inserts to the bottle cage inserts and mounted the bracket without the adapter plate. This seems to be what most have done based on videos and images I found. However it concerns me a little bit that I need the bracket slid up to clear the piggyback on my shock, imagining that it slides down over time / under impacts and eventually makes contact. I'm wondering if it's a good move (intended use?) to mount this adapter plate and raise the mounting points so that I can use the bracket slid down in the tracks.

The upper holes on the bike are clearly labeled range extender on mine

Yeah. I'm really not sure what this adapter plate I got is intended for, maybe just "if you need it" kinda thing.
That looks like an adapter thing to make clearance for frames that only have a single set of holes, similar to other products sold by Wolf Tooth & the like. Shouldn't need it for the Vala or Bullit.

Range extender followup - I just mounted it without the adapter as discussed here and it's great. Did a 3-hour (2.5h moving) ride last evening, ~24 miles | 6350 feet on mostly Turbo. Secured the too-long cable with gaffer tape

If you put a twist in the cable it works fine.
Range is insane with the extender on.

I am 220lbs and recently did a 41 mile ride with 4100 feet of climbing. Used range extender and mostly Tour with some Turbo for the technical really steep stuff. Not that it makes a difference but it was in the high 90's. Finished the ride with 33% left. Test was to see if I can get 50 miles with 6K of climbing. I think I can get there if I use some more Eco

Tested both the Vala and Bullit today up at the Golfie and really preferred the handling of the Vala but just wondering if any of you owners have but any limits with it at stock?

I didn't manage to bottom out the one I test rode but can imagine upping the fork to 170mm might be something to consider so has anyone done that and any changes tested on the shock end?

I’m running a 170mm fork up front a using a 65mm stroke shock out back. Works perfectly…

A while back Bosch said they were going to have a new power upgrade for the GEN fivethat would be over the air , in July. Anybody heard anything else?

Yup updated mine, although I'm in the power-only group. Got the new eMTB+ mode with power dials and 750W max, but no 100Nm max.

I went through an update process but doesn't show increased power or increased torque on the app. What do you mean by power only?

Turns out there was a second download installation process that showed up a little later after the first big download, and now for me showing 100 m and 750 W
