Santa Cruz Bullit battery mount issue

Hi All,

I have just realised that my Bullit battery mount has broken. Has anyone had this problem because I cant release the battery from the frame. I have pulled the front cover off and there appears to be no other way to release the battery. Has anyone had this problem?

Not sure from your comment if you’ve had battery out before?
On my Bullit once I use the allen key 1/4 turn through top of access door hole it pops open about 1-2” inches and I use finger to reach in, depress tab and it releases (be ready to catch battery).

It's not a Bullit battery mount that has broken...It's a Shimano battery mount that has broken, and several people have had the same problem..

Well done on sorting it, my lock broke as well, and l got a free replacement under warranty. Fortunately l was still able to release the battery on mine.
