Another solo ride with a limited time slot so Kielder again ..thinking that Stairway to Heaven ( woodwork ) would be OK as the sun was shining brightly it soon kicked my arse and had me off on the first shady corner ..so 50% rideable 50% mincing on foot ..
Purdom Plunge was great but the extended trail after the fire road was closed due to forestry operations ..just as well I read the small print on the closure sign as it said " to everyone except the Hodge " ..phew !..
Enjoyed the ride on a lovely bright Autumnal day ..

Whinlatter next week ..looking like another solo ride ..Im beginning to think its my aftershave !😂
Edit : Really really loving that minion dhf on the rear ..much more lively than the dhr..👍

What do we all think of Tan walls? I picked the bike up yesterday & it's the way it came & I know they divide opinion but I quite like them in a pink Cadillac, retro kind of way.

We almost went to Gisburn today but changed our minds last minute as we heard it was running pretty sludgey! Hamsterley instead. Dry

Suit some bikes, not others. It’s just a tyre . How come you’ve got another Focus ?
 
Couple of pics from a weekend around Girraween NP, QLD. Fantastic riding even though I managed to get a pinch flat without a tube, small gash in the sidewall just under the rim line. Somehow it managed to keep a couple of psi in it and I rode the 10-15km home standing up all the way with my weight as far forward as I could. As you can see it's just a little rocky around there.
