really JetSedgwick, you had to show that picture when I was dealing with the following along my shoreline today, 100 km winds over a few days cleared the ice on

the lake and deposited along the shore trail - rather than levo on the rocks I was thinking scotch on the rocks . . .can't wait to see lots of shots in arms so we can travel again, I'm amazed at all the biking trails the Brits share so a trip to see where grandpa emigrated from might be in the works - and a closer trek to northern California and Oregon has to be on my bucket list

Our local woods (Kilburn / Hood Hill) have been a complete slop over winter, but now they’re dry as a bone and the trails are in perfect condition

As he was out on his new non electric Whyte hardtail and loving every minute I decided to carry them myself ..?

Edit 2 : Now in chill mode in the garden with 1 or 4 Peroni's watching the the sun go down ..bliss!

A Family Day Out ..

Not only is it a Bank Holiday ..but its also lambing season and my missus ( who loves lambing time ) is helping out on her sisters farm ..which means another ride out for me ..yay!
My mate Rodders ( his name is Dave ) couldn't make yesterday's ride but mentioned on our little WhatsApp mtb group chat that he was heading out for a local ride from home in the woods above Corbridge ( Dipton Woods) & Hexham ( Dukes Wood ) ..and although I had ridden some of the trails on night rides a few years back..a lot of them were totally unknown ..
Some great singletrack followed on trails that were drying out nicely ..I never realised these woods had so much to offer ..thanks for showing me around Dave ( although he will probably never read this )
