A cold muddy day. Dreaded windmills on the horizon but I suppose that they provide "fuel" for the bike...........And a nice few million for those that have them erected!:mad:

Had a cracking day out on the bike today, I’m really bonding with it now. It’s taken a couple of hundred miles, but now I have zero regrets or issues with the bike.

I‘ve missed riding around the firing ranges, as there’s a real mix of terrains, but it’s open all Easter, so I’m making the most of it. I heard some motorbikes having fun on the roads, and although tempting to get home and go for a spank on one of mine though, I’d rather be on the ebike.

A few pictures for Mr Hodge..... ?

Today was perfect, tacky, no mud in sight. Slightly frosted at the start, but turned to dew at the first beams of late morning . I saw the most deer at a single ride that I have ever seen in these woods- must have been between 20-25, and they were truck'n. Those beast are powerful.

Ahh ..that would be Nick ..
He might as well have been carrying them as he is always "loaded for bear "..on every ride ..but no ..
As he was out on his new non electric Whyte hardtail and loving every minute I decided to carry them myself ..?
Edit : he also appears in pic2 behind Jaco ..
Edit 2 : Now in chill mode in the garden with 1 or 4 Peroni's watching the the sun go down ..bliss!

Not sure if that's referring to the pic I posted Rusty ..but my name isn't Steve ..?
If it is then I agree about the fence and we get some spectacular sunsets & dark skies ..and I never get tired of the view ..
The hill in far distance is Deadwater Fell at Kielder ..constantly calling me to ride its red ( mainly ) & black trails ..both a blessing & a curse as I can't oblige as much as I would like to ..

My bad. I'm shit with names. Not great remembering birthdays either which gets me in trouble regularly. ? But yes, it's a lovely part of the world, your bailiwick.
