Hi guys, can you please show me your picture of the distance between the magnet and speed sensor?

Hi all. just asking if incase i want to change the magnet for the speed sensor, any will do right like the magnet for most of the speedometer? Thanks

On M600 (i dont know about m500, but i think its the same) are each connector color-coded with different shape and colour. So you cannot make it wrong, if you respect color and shape. ON motor there are 2 black connectors with same shape but one is male, one is female (so again you cannot make it wrong). Throttle control have short cable, so its go directly to display. Other questions check attached diagram valid for M500and M600.

Hi Rob,
Many thanks for the inspiration, I've just completed my own lockdown build, meet Little Boy, very similar spec to the cheeb but with the M600 motor and better group set. Nearly 6 months from the first order to completion due to lock down but really worth the wait, top end bike for about £4750. The price different of purchase a bike of this standard from a major manufacturer is what you'd expect to spend on a family holiday. The build process is not for the faint hearted but I'm really pleased with the finished product, it rides very well and more powerful than any other Emtb that I have ridden :)
Cant wait to start getting it dirty :)

you are reffering the 3pin yellow rounded connector, which is on Y-cable. We speak about different hexagon connector which is located in central part of frame.

Building the E10 bike with befang e600 motor. I am missing the engine mounting bolts. Any idea what they are so I can buy in Australia or somewhere quick. cheers

The bolts are quite specialised unfortunately....
They are M8 cap head bolts, with length of approx. 65mm (from under the head to the end of the bolt) and thread length of 10mm. You need 3 in total. Also a plain washer and Nyloc nut for each bolt. The head width is also quite thin at 2,5mm.

Looking at the bolts mounted on bike, I don't think you'd have a problem with standard head size cap head bolts sized as above, I wouldn't worry too much about thread length provided it's at least 10mm.

ACF50 - just spray onto electrics and wipe off with a rag. I used to use the stuff on all my motorbikes in the UK winters and it lasted forever. Its quite a thick viscosity so sticks well.

In the video you mentioned getting the bike wet and it stopped working!
What were the issues? As after a ride I got carried away with the hose pipe and whe I turned the bike back on the display read 0% even though the battery was 80% before I washed it.
This has also happened about 7 miles into a ride previously. (But could have maybe got water in the electrics the previous time I washed it ??‍♂️)
When powering up a distinct ticking noise can be heard from the battery.
Both times after leaving the bike a day or so I have put the battery back in and bike was ok again.
Also on the last occasion 1.5 days later the bike started driving on its own while I was re setting the trip counter and brought up a hand throttle error code.
Then I lubed the chain turning the crank and when I stopped after a few seconds the motor started driving on it own.

is this on the side of the motor? as I looked inside and mine it was dry and no sign of water ingress.
I think I got water in the mode/power switch or the display.
do you get the ticking noise from your battery ?
