Hi,
I've just swapped out my springs and fitted the 650lbs variant on my Ohlins rear shock and it quickly developed a horrendous squeak... its not the standard oil transfer swoosh and spring noise you normally get, but literally sounds like a kid on an old rusty swing..
The spring was new and is a genuine Ohlins one.
The spring has half a turn of preload and when you sit on it and hold the spring you can feel it vibrate as it squeaks. It doesn't look like its fouling the body of the shock, but that is the only thing it can be really unless the springs are known to squeak/creak...
is anyobody else getting this?
