ive added pike forks, sram code brakes with 200mm rotors next is to replace the shitty 8 speed shimano setup does anyone know if the stout rear wheel will take a 11 speed cassette or do i need to change the wheel to accomplish this? i understand i will need a 11 speed shifter, derailleur and chain but i have a sram gx setup that im hoping to use
cheers

Hi I have a 2019 Ht and I replaced the rear cassette with a 10speed sun tour and Xt rear clutchmech and an XTR shifter fantastic completely transforms the drive train.
Not what you really asked but I can see no reason why the stout wheel shouldn’t be compatible perhaps someone can just confirm.

Would probably need to replace the freehub which would be a 8-9sp variety with a 10-11sp one.
The Stout hubs are made by Joytech who make a lot of different brands so something will be available.

Not sure you will have to change the free hub I didn't have to when I went from 8 to 10

Can possibly be done, but they are different. Have seen 10sp freehubs with a spacer on them to fit an 8 or 8sp cluster.

Just about to swop over the other halfs cassette for a 10sp with shifter and rear mech. Just put the Rock shocks from my Levo Comp on there as well.
