Has anyone paid for this? I’m slightly confused because surely if you take your Kiox off your bike the motor wouldn’t be turned on and therefore wouldn’t work anyway?

Or does the motor still provide some assistance when the bike is turned off?

I assume this doesn’t actually lock the motor and make the bike unrideable?

I realise you wouldn’t use it as a standalone anti-theft feature and you’d still need a good lock etc, but just wondering if it’s worth getting.

It locks the bike to your Kiox

So if I turned up with my Kiox, or stole your bike and ordered a new Kiox, it would still be a brick

Thanks, that makes sense. So I guess it’s not designed as an anti-theft deterrent because no-one would know you have the lock mode.

It’s just an inconvenience for any thieves and means the bike can’t be sold on etc if stolen.
