What is your current build and weight? I'm curious how light they could get an aluminum frame.
I threw caution to the wind when it came to weight. I'm 220lbs (99kg), so a light weight bike doesn't really matter.
The build is 58lbs (26kg)

27/29 crankbrothers synthesis Alloy wheels
Schwalbe eddy current tires 2.6 and 2.8
220/203 rotors
Sram db8 brakes
Fox 36 fork, Fox dpx2 shock
Sram XO axs t-type
Rockshox reverb dropper
Ergon smc large saddle
Crankbrothers stamp 3 pedals, large
Raceface turbine stem and aeffect bars
Cane creek headset
Fidlock bottle

Received mine a few days ago. I'm amazed and very excited, to finish the build.

However I'm working on some custom features, like cable duct for the rear light and custom wiring so I can attach Lupine SL X + Lupine C14. It's a rather slow build, but I try to post images regularily.

I got this "WILDMAN" bag from Aliexpress. The ugly reflective logo and straps can easily be removed. For mounting I made myself some 3D-printed parts, that screw into the exisiting screwholes of the frame. The zippers had to be replaced with cords, since it's hard to get around the corners otherwise.

I have ordered bashguard and adapter for accustic bottom bracket (to make non electric bike bb92).

Price for chain guard is 52$, price for bottom bracket adapter is 100$, shipping to EU is 45$. And they gave me free jersey😁.
I think all parts are super nice.
Have a nice day. 1713515814066.png 1713515779245.png image.png 7fd6c19c95ea4ea360e703535df30d8.jpg 3a46e1ef9e7ef8968bb3fcdd3242aee.jpg eb9354e504e6b08099e94e62b0fc24e.jpg

I discover this very interesting topic, why it's not in the "DIY" subject ?

I designed it so that it fits the carbon tube and replaced the lower part with a 3D-printed part to fit the new BMS and charging connector. I used silicone to glue it back in. Here is it compared to the stock battery.

I was looking for te DengFu E82. I thought I didn't need this high pivot kind of tech. But it all seems to be thought out well by some true EMTB geeks (ment to be a positive thing). The manual is interesting. So.. I am very interested in this bike.

Sadly it will take to long to get here to use it this summer. So I got me a cheap non e-motor Scott for the summer to enjoy the flat Dutch trails. I might order a Hybridizer later on to build as a winter project.

I just stumbled on a new 2024 release clip from Hybridizer. One of my main concerns was battery capacity, but they have enlarged it a bit to 860Wh. They also mention an upgraded bearing part in the rear suspension.
It is also available with the 500W M560 (130Nm). The 750W power plant is NOT supported, the battery's BMS wouldn't supply that much current. I would think the 500W motor would be able to burn through the charge fast enough, so it will do for me.

I hope more Hybridizer Sann owners will leave a comment on their experience with building and riding this nice EMTB!

Very nice frame ! I'm new to ebike world and considering the Sann as first build; its manual mention the speed sensor, but I can't see the cable running in the swingarm...
Charging port is located just in front of the motor area?

You can order by contacting Xu :) He is always open to answer your questions. Mention my name and he might give you a discount. :)

Check the manual. It's linked in one of the past posts. Yeah charging port is near the motor..

Does anybody need a backup battery? Since I built my own battery, I no longer need this one. It was just for backup. 😊 I'm asking for 650€, which includes charger + battery. Send me a message if you're interested.

If anyone is thinking about buying a Hybridizer bike, I want to say that the bike is great. I also bought an adapter for bike parks (for a regular crankset without a motor and battery). The bike works really super.

Even with some problems and issues, the Hybridizer team is very responsive. They answer emails quickly and fix problems professionally. If you're unsure about buying a bike directly from Asia, you will be happy with Hybridizer.
