Hi guys new to emtb problems already

Hi guys as above not new to mtb but just took delivery of a merida e160 900 with the shimano steps e8000. Took it out for its third outing today and had a problem where if I jumped or had a big impact the bike turned itself off and need to be restarted. After getting home I've checked all connections are OK I did find the battery to have a bit of play in it as the carriage was a bit loose although it wasn't much, is there anything else to check.

My bike had the same problem. I had to adjust the upper battery mount down to get rid of that play. Good luck!
