Giant reign e+1 2024 fox x2 version?

Hi.

Looking at the 2024 e+1 on a big special. Has great running gear but reading about all the x2 shock issues scares me a wee bit. Anyone know if the 2024 model comes with the “improved “ x2 or the problematic one. Date wise it should be the improved model but anyone have a 2024 reign e+1 who could let me know. Thanks

Yesterday, I picked up a Reign e+ 1 with Factory X2. Not sure if Fox has modified or updated the tune in the shock.

It will be the new 2024 model with the supposed 'fixed' seals or whatever.
However they've been saying they'd fixed it every year since it came out.
Mine blew after a year, my mates 2023 one blew after 4 months.

If it goes squishy they'll fix it for free but it's still a pain in the arse and terrible quality.

It's a shame as they're great shocks when working properly
