Interesting, seen mixed reports from folk who have gone to coil vs air and the back again.
I was set on a coil but I think I'm gonna get the Vivid tuned with a WPS piston and see how that goes as it's feeling pretty good now after some more tweaking
Yeah, it's a look of cash to lay down on the coil I want as well (FAST fenix) but may just spend that money on getting the Zebs/Vivid tuned for me and maybe an AXS upgradeMy friends running ohlins 38 and coil on his 600 wh "lite" which is now basically a core. We both run carbon wheels and his bike feels as heavy as mine. Tried his prefer the feel of the vivid myself tho he is lighter so spring was proberly wrong for me.
I'll be whipping the seat post out of the Dreadie if and when it arrives and dropping in the Reverb ASX..Yeah, it's a look of cash to lay down on the coil I want as well (FAST fenix) but may just spend that money on getting the Zebs/Vivid tuned for me and maybe an AXS upgrade
That's how I have my core setup, Ohlins 38 (air) - 80psi main, 250psi ramp with recommended LSC/R, and 2 clicks of HSC for hard hits and a SDU Ultimate coil out back. Love that fork and shock compared to the stock Zeb/Vivid. I also built a set of WeAreOne Triad/Fuse wheels with OnUp Hubs to go on it as well as I destroyed the ARC rear wheel the first week I owned it.My friends running ohlins 38 and coil on his 600 wh "lite" which is now basically a core. I have a core with 800wh battery, I weigh 64kg, bike is about 24kg atm. Climbing fire roads all day, at 10-15mph in auto mode (which is usually around 150-400w assistance, with some peaks on 600w range in a few steep sections), Saturday I got 12000 ft (3600m) on 160% battery. (started at 100%, charged twice 40% each time, ended up with 20% left). I'm sure it can do better if tune it down some, but I prefer climbing a little faster.Question current owners.
What sort of range/elevation do you get on either the 600 or 800w battery? Also roughly how much you weigh. Trying to work out if i go 600w for the weight (current preference) or 800w for the range on my upcoming dread-e.
Bit about me. 67kg's with all my gear. 95% of my rides are winch plummet, can easily get back to the car and charge up if needed (got a power bank already and have the avinox fast charger with the dread). Average ride is 13-18 miles with 1500-2000m vert. I'm coming from a Kenevo SL currently which i can comfortably manage the basic 320wh battery for the above rides with different modes and actual legs. I'm 'planning' on keeping the power around 300w-350w or less of assistance the vast majority of the time as all my climbs are fire roads. Currently all i get is 240w on turbo and that is more than enough for my heavy weight frame...
Any one with any real world numbers for me to mull over would be appreciated. Cheers.

im 92kg 6,2ft my battery does me a decent ride in trail, if i turn it down in auto can last ages. i love with the avinox you can just adjust all this as you go on the ride without phone needed.I have a core with 800wh battery, I weigh 64kg, bike is about 24kg atm. Thanks. How much climbing/distance where you at before your first charge on the 800w? Also did you kill the battery before charging first time around or did you have some left?I have a core with 800wh battery, I weigh 64kg, bike is about 24kg atm. I don't really know, I wasn't checking it during the ride. I charged at lunch time from like 40-80%, then let to drop to 0% up to 43% at 3-4pm and used about 20% more before leaving. Dropping to zero was a bad idea - though I did it on purpose - it caused it to go from about 30c to 45c in the last 5-10% and it refused to charge for a bit till the battery cooled down.Thanks. you should go with 600wh... not a battery for all but maybe for you.Question current owners.

leaning that way given the numbers you have all kindly replied with! Thanks.you should go with 600wh... not a battery for all but maybe for you.
'im on a 800wh, 74kg geared and can do 2200/2300m with no problem.
For 1500/1600 m 600 is perfect...2000 with a 30/45min recharge
I wouldn't mind trying the 600wh battery at some point, however l like weight, being light myself the extra weight helps imo. Also just not having to charge as often. I was really hoping one of the new motors (M2 or M2S) was going to be a toned down varient that focused on efficiency instead of pushing power numbers. Who really needs more power at this point, most of us tune it down anyway, I want more efficiency not more power.leaning that way given the numbers you have all kindly replied with! Thanks.
Unlike forks with where you can replace the air shaft with a longer one or remove spacers on some shocks for more travel, you can’t do the same with that dropper.question about TRanzX rad 170 on core3 S2... is it possible to increase travel like 180 or only reduce?
Mine only goes -5mm -10mm or -25mm so I would say no. I ended up with a OneUp v3(which I like much better anyway) was able to get 210mm on an S2, using about 20mm more insertion than the numbers suggest.question about TRanzX rad 170 on core3 S2... is it possible to increase travel like 180 or only reduce?
Looks smart that and did they do you a good deal with their recent warehouse move?Mine. T2 S3 bought as a frame via Bird Cycleworks.
Loving it so far after 2 rides. Especially after my old KSL. Meat bike is a Hope HB916, so used to high pivot.

Any rattle from the podioum fork?Another “power challenged” here. Liking the Title cockpit

1,000+ km in and the Podium is still… working. No oil on the stanchions, no air loss, no weird noises — honestly pretty disappointing. Was hoping for at least one dramatic mid-ride failure to spice things up. Instead, it just keeps riding like day one. How boringAny rattle from the podioum fork?
