E8000 rattle.

Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone has had or has a rattle on the E8000? I had my motor replaced on YT Decoy and this one seems to rattle on the downhills. It’s not slap as I’ve had the chain off and tried and everything seems nice and tight. You can hear it if you drop the bike on the rear tire too. I could try and post a vid if any help later. Thanks guys.

Did your old one not rattle? Usually the e8000 shouldn't rattle as easily as the ep8 but it depends on the frame. Maybe they did a running change to spare motors with ep8 parts?

I didn't think that was even possible. It was supposed to be a total redesign.
But I am happy to be put right by anyone who really knows for sure.

I don't think that this happened either but it could be possible in theory that some parts, especially around the crank axle would be interchangeable due to standardization. It would be really dumb tho to add this 'feature' to a motor that's not as prone ro rattle.
