Has anyone fitted the debonair spring into the 35mm rockshox silver as fitted to the base fsr if so did you notice any better performance and was it worth the cost
I just finished the 2nd 40km ride following upgrading on my 2019 pike.
I still have some tweaking to go to get the shock feeling spot on.
The immediate notice is that I needed about 12 PSI less in the shock to maintain sag at 28%.
Having run the forks like this for 80km across too rides I know this is not enough air pressure.... I am getting through 90% of the the travel pretty easily.
I guess the sag change is obvious... if the fork was sitting 10% lower and is now raised then obvs the sag is going to change. I will be changing my PSI next ride, probably +8.
That said, the bike stands taller on the flat and is more supple, although it remains to be seen whether the PSI difference causes a lot of that. More after next weekend.
