Did the stock crank bolts work ok with the Miranda's? I have a pair of 150mm coming but unsure if the stock cube bolts will work?
I think most bolts work on most cranks. I've had 3 sets of Miranda cranks with a few different bolts, on 1 crank out of the 6 I had a major issue with the self extracting bolt ripping the threads.

So for cheap cranks I recommend using regular bolts and an extraction tool when you want to take them off (way more threads engaged on the extraction tool)

Thanks - I'll try the stock bolts then. Already got the extraction tool from messing with my other bike.

First ride with mine with my usual wheelset.
Really nice bike easy to handle but I have to change quickly the grip by my usual ESI.
I need to set up properly the suspensions and add some silicon rubber to avoid dust to go to the battery

Hi all, I’ve rather silly question but this is driving crazy. I’ve replaced the shock, but I seem to have lost one spacers have I: upper bolt holding the shock in place, does it have two spacers? Bolt goes through the frame, there’s sort of a split spacer etc. I removed the bolt, saw at least one convex spacer fall out. I assume there should be two, one on both sides of this “split spacer” but I can’t find the second one anywhere.

I think mine only has one

There are two, one on each side. I replaced mine (on a one44, but the mounting hardware is the same) so I'm sure of it.

EDIT: I re-read and confirm, I misunderstood, sorry 🥲 (English is not my native language)

Maybe I misunderstood, but I meant two spacers on the mounting hardware, not in the screw. Here is a picture of mine on the One44, the ones indicated by the red arrows:

As an aside, if you can try to leave the silver bits in the frame when you remove the bolt, it will make reassembly a lot easier...
I just lift the bike up a bit to align the shock hole and bolt just slides in with the spacer etc. I did notice some chaffing/rubbing on the bolt so I've put some paste on the smooth part when I reassembled - no creaking now.

Thanks guys for the support! Because I’m not sure and I can’t find it, I made one. Avid cps spacer, filed it a bit and we’re ready to go👍

A good friend of mine is considering one ,
after all the rides is the battery still in place and did the cover in the end hold up :) ?
Greath bike and thank you so much for your post !

Here’s the result from yesterday evening. I never liked the fox 38, and since it’s leased bike, I couldn’t install smashpot. Topaz prime was a bonus. Testrise will take place on tonight/weekend.

Why smashpot? I already have yari+coil on my hardtail and I love that setup.

Does the XT calipers fit thicker discs like the hs2? I really wanna upgrade the discs but unsure which I should go for. Any ideas would be amazing

Yes, I'm running HS2s 220mm no problem, slightly hard to avoid brake rub noises though. My rear brake bite point is all over the place though and a bit spongy, hoping a partial bleed will help.

As soon as the rain stops here, I'll be putting fresh continentals and galfer brake pads on, bike will be beastly!

Same here, no problems with magura mdr-p, they’re also 2mm thick. I had a “spongy all over the place feel” on my rear brake as well but it cured itself after I just pushed the pistons back in and realigned the caliper.

My rear is currently like this, the cable rubbed on the spokes from day one. The cable seems to be twisted and that’s what’s causing it to bend towards the spokes.

I need to get it looked at or something but at the moment it works haha.

About 3 months with the bike now both riding self shuttled rides and doing bike park laps.
Getting used to the bike, really low how it feels.
The stock suspension on the SLX is doing a great job, but I did add some more pressure in the rear shock as I was bottoming out on harder hits.
Spoke on the stock rear wheel broke, I guess the wheel wont survive for too long so it will be the first thing to be replaced.

4 months on my bike now 1250km ridden on mixed terrain from Old skool XC to steep Enduro trails of tweed valley ,Scotland
Very happy with the bike and particularly the value for money .
Can't really fault the spec for the price
I reckon it's one of if not the best value Enduro capable EMTB on the market
Add to that my LBS Diamond cycles are super helpful and I'm very happy with my choice .

minor issues to report all easy fix
1)Battery Rattle caused by Battery holder bolts loose
2)Rear shock mount causing god awful creaking
3)175mm seat post on a XL is too short IMHO

4 months on and I've done 1250 Km

I've made Few changes due to personal preference and me being 18 stone so fitted nice xt stuff to my son's bike and fitted to my bike
1)Down graded from 12 speed XT to 11 speed linkglide M8130 gears
2)Hope pro 5 wheels and V4 brakes
3)One up 240mm dropper
4)SDG Bel air saddle

Great all round bike for where I live and I cant afford two bikes so happy with my choice and very happy to recommend to others with several friends purchasing one 77 and one 44 based on my recommendation.
Interested to here how others are getting along with there's ?

I’ve done 300 miles on my 0ne77 SLX. I can’t fault it either. I’ve taken it down the rough stuff in the Peak District, it’s been to Grenoside and my local woods and it’s just smashed it and asked for more, it’s much more capable than me that’s for sure.

Problems I’ve had are :
1) creaky rear which was fixed by some lube and correct torque setting
2) Rear brake cable catching rear wheel - looks like they twisted the cable when fitting..again easy fix

Apart from those things the bike is perfectly silent and murders climbs. Looking forward to the rumoured Bosch power upgrade.

Great thread. Just ordered a TM myself and excited for delivery next week. Does anyone know if the connect module can be fitted to this bike? There is talk online that some manufacturers motor covers do not leave anough space.

Yes, you can mount it, there is space in the standard cover for mounting. Source: I mounted it on mine.

Sorty I've no info on connect module other than when I researched it the general comcensus was money would be better spent on a hidden apple air tag in the tyre .

Hei, sain keskiviikkona L-koon 2025 One77 SLX:n ja tein sillä 2 hyvin lyhyttä ajoa.

Tilasin pyörän Bike24:stä 15% alennuksen vuoksi, maksoin yhteensä 4300 € toimituskuluineen. Helposti paras tarjous Gen 5 boschille.

  • Akun lukitusmekanismi on todella huono muotoilu, hullu määrä liikettä varastosta.
Positiiviset:
  • Arvo on mieletön, jopa ennen alennusta.

This has been a really useful thread, as there's still virtually nothing out on the mainstream eMTB press previewing (let alone reviewing) the 2025 Cube One77 eMTB. So, firstly a big thank you to those that have this bike and shared your detailed thoughts; it is genuinely helpful :)

I've just been down to my LBS and pulled the trigger on the AT 800 variant in a Size L and Carbon 'n Gold colourway; should have it in 10ish days time. I'm 184cm with 88cm inside leg and tried the Size L out in-store (SLX variant) and it felt right for me. I'll report back with thoughts once I've got it and had a chance to ride it.
