Evening guys. So mine has developed the dreaded creak that a few of you have mentioned in earlier posts
What have you guys done exactly to cure it and has it worked? Thanks in advance

I can sell m’y float X2 Kashima from m’y 177 HPC action team which has specific settingsi didnt bother removing them because the bike was pretty much new. I've just ordered an X2 for it so ill give them a good grease when I fit it.
This:Can someone confirm which is the correct orientation for the headset cups in the slack setting please? Got two conflicting diagrams from Acros!
Thanks. I thought it was with the chamfered edges.
I have the same issue — bolts don't hold up and unscrew during intensive riding.I also lost it while on the road to the forest near by... Interested if someone knows the answer
Check all your torques by the way, one of the rear arm screws was not tight at all, it damaged a bit the frame along the seat tube

It has blue — I added fresh. So thread locker wasn’t there from the factory? That’s nice…

Brutal protection, but the most vulnerable part of the motor is still unprotected.View attachment 161799View attachment 161800View attachment 161801View attachment 161803View attachment 161804View attachment 161805Couple of little mods on the 177 today. 155mm Hope cranks and an AVS motor guard.

The motor casing is so fragile that stones flying off the front wheel literally rip chunks of metal out of it. I took 2–3 hits in almost the exact same spot during just one descent.

Yes, there’s a cradle which sits over the cables and plugs and that’s bolted to the motor using the existing motor mounts. The outer skid plate is then bolted to that.Bolt on cover? Motor has threads/holes in it for this cover? How about on the rear end, where wires and connectors are?

yes mine is similar in that I've had stones lodged between the motor and pedal crank making a right mess of the motor case!Brutal protection, but the most vulnerable part of the motor is still unprotected.
