Cube Hybrid EMTB 2025 looks lit!

Check the battery compartment is screwed in tight.
You have to take the battery lock out to gain access to the hex bolt that holds the battery part in. See if that's loose.
Mine was rattling and when I looked down my battery was hanging out!
Yup, I’ve already tightened all that including putting a pad and Velcro strap on the battery cover. It could be motor cover rattle as mine gets very loose in a side to side movement. To me tho it sounds exactly like my old gen 4 on my whyte e160.

Torque for the motor bolt is 20Nm according to Cube. Maybe the brake hose etc is rattling?

My mind is growing immune to my bike's creaks now. I've given up looking for them and worrying about them. Everything is torqued up but still I get a creak or 2. It is what it is now.

You can unscrew the LED panel on the top tube and check if your cable underneath are loose. I zip tied mine and it made a noticeable difference.

Could someone please do me a favour and post a picture of how the rear brake cable comes out the frame? I wanna make sure it’s correct. Going to strip the rear end and drop the motor to see if I can find my rattling noise.

So much for the update to the gen5 on the 14th. I’ve checked Cubes Socials and oh.. they don’t update anything for years and years… I can see why Cube is such good value. It’s all face value on sale I’m coming to realise.

Surely the update is nothing to do with Cube themselves, but Bosch?
Currently waiting for the update to drop also…

Guys, if the app on Google Play says "updated to 27 June 2025" in the description (like mine does), it means there's no update yet.

Don't rely on the text. The app version is what's matter. Apparently, Android users still have to wait about a week…

EDIT I actually have it on Android! Just make sure you have the latest version of the app installed. Then update it through the settings!

Curious when the restriction will change from 25 to 32 in EU, i found some articles about it, would be AWESOME

I've noticed that one of the suspension links on my e-bike has changed color on one side — it used to be black, but now it's turned a gold-green shade. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

So today I broke my connector lid, on the hinge. Bought a new harness for the connector at the Cube LBS for €1,95 so I bought two of them. They are very breakable.

That greening looks like the coating has failed, hopefully they give you a replacement. I’ll check mine tomorrow. I can’t see me keeping this bike long, think it’s time to go back to whyte or try a Specialized.

The Levo4 thread is as full of dodge as on here. I don’t think anything is greener tbh.

I kind of like the color, sort of a patina. Does it represent any compromise of the parts integrity? I assume that it is anodizing of an aluminum part that creates the original color.

Since aircraft are mostly made of aluminum, I have in the past used a product called Alodine to protect aluminum parts which could be helpful if the finish is not stable. It comes in a liquid that can be applied to a part.

Do you store your bike somewhere where's a direct sunlight from that side? It could be paint fade, same happened to my seatpost clamp. I have my bike on the balcony (west side) and not only the clamp was that same colour as yours on the picture (only the exposed side), but also the plastic collar from kiox mount faded to light grey.
Since then I cover my bike with a sturdy cover from decathlon and it's been great.

Just purchased some orange factory 38’s to replace the basic ones on the cube. Should look great and match my DHX coil perfectly. Can’t wait to fit them.
