It even says in the release notes the latest update fixes the speed sensor issue.

Just updated my Rail. No issues on updating. Immediately lowered Tour+ to 75nm and -2 support. I have always felt tour+ is too strong.

Went for 20km ride, can def notice the change in Tour+ and bike feeling great. No distance or sensor issues. Glad it’s all sorted. Just tried my walk mode at home it does seem better but still quite cyclical rather than a steady push.
