Battery range extender for 2019 trance ?

Hi all I'm off to Wales in June covid permitting my trance only has a 500wh battery so I've seen the range extender for the reign has anybody fitted it to a trance as I've looked everywhere and can't find a reasonable 625wh battery there £625 and for once or twice a year I need it that's to much any ideas ?

The pre- 2021 Trance doesn't have the terminals in the port to fit a range extender.

If you need more range your options are:-

1: turn the assistance down using the app, which does work at last.
2: buy a 625 battery
3: buy a spare battery and put it in your backpack.
4: buy a later bike as well as a range extender.

You sometimes see 504 batteries on flea-bay for sale from people fitting a 625 as an upgrade. They're awful heavy to carry around though.

Another option may be to hide a spare in the bushes half way around your ride.

The most I've managed on a 504 battery was 40 miles with 5500 feet of hard climbing.
