Hi, is it normal for my bike to go into a very limited Emergency power mode when it's around 90-95F out? It just happened to me, I was riding 100% in ECO mode as well.

I just rode 20 miles/4,000ft elevation with 100% Turbo in 95 degree weather with no issues. I'm only 135lbs. How many miles/elevation did you do before the lower power mode kicked in?

I was probably 3-4 miles into my ride, had done maybe 800ft elevation. I'm 160 lbs. I did the latest firmware update last night.

I had to turn it off for about ten minutes, then it was fine, after riding with the motor off for another while of mostly downhill. I've had the bike for about two months with 300 miles on it.

No. 188 lbs ride in 95f weather daily 25 mile 4000' average in trail and few short turbo blast

few 2 mile hill climbs in turbo on 95f and no issue yet
Thanks. I'm going to be up in Nevada City this week riding and really hoping this isn't some motor problem. I was reading about the display having a sensor that can trigger the emergency , are you riding in direct sunlight? or in the trees.

Both. I moved to Pilot hill and ride through Cronan and down to Salmon falls bridge, and if frisky i ride to NY creek bridge in el dorado hills and then back to pilot hill.

We do Pioneer trail few times a year and ride from the store to Burlington OHV and back

I had a red triangle come on for a few seconds after hitting a few pr,s and climbing a mile long hill, but it was just the once and did not last long. Power didnt seem reduced. But only minor glitch ive seen. Didnt worry me and didnt happen again.

I had a Canyon with EP801 and constantly threw codes yet rode perfect. I would be worried if it was to quiet lol

Did you check motor temperature 🌡️ on the AVINOX screen❓
For now the maximum motor temperature I reached is 70° in Boost mode, +1000W… and the Graph📊 stay green 🟩

.
This is a tutorial for getting the engine temp bar graph. It's in Spanish, but is easy to follow if anyone wants it. When you create a custom screen you have more options.

This is a tutorial
Phil already showed me that TY

I do not have the menu options. Where motor temo is listed, mine just says temp, and it is outside temp, not motor temp and has no graph.

Its weird they have different menus, but it make sense because the VPN still works for some, but not everyone.

tutoriel in this thread
And I thank you, but my menu does not have motor temp. Just temp.

I understood the directions my wife was Peruvian, and im a good 10% fluent lol

Unless there is something else i need to turn on.

it only shows up when you create a new display window. It's not an option on the default displays you can alter.

Right. So I click the + and add the single display window option, then click on that window once its created. But I only have temp listed. It does not say motor temp and no graph. And in another Amflow thread they Amflow guys said the bike has outside temp as well. If I go into system, yes I can see motor and battery temp. But nothing is adjustable there.

Ill go out and try the dual window and see if that changes the menu options

🤔 It is strange because this feature must be available for everybody… 🌍 🌎

It is strange
agree. im pretty slick with computers and took to display settings like a duck to water.

But I only have outside temp

for everybody
that is what people are saying about the whole update and ruining the VPN. For some it does ruin the VPN, for others it does not, and they are still using the loophole

I moderate/admin a Amflow FB page that has the amflow techs posting. Guess I could ask them, but i have yet to see the explain the VPN thing [probably for obvious reasons]

ASKING amflow support this question, thanks for the help

Hi We are truly sorry for the late reply.
We would like to know what is being displayed on the central control screen. Could you please contact [email protected] and send us a photo so we can further assess?

We apologize for the inconvenience.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Did you check motor temperature
Been using the graph and the motor has not got hot yet.

Battery did overheat and kicked the red triangle on and went into limp mode after 30 miles and a steep 500' climb.

Were you riding in Turbo mode? How long did you have to wait for the battery to recover?

Yes turned up to 1000w

That was weird, it let me ride home 1/2 mile in trail like power.

But it would shut off and on, then power on by itself, it cycled like that 10 times and after 10 min it was fine

Last night it did it again after setting records on hill climbs and up n down trails. But only after a 7 mile paved hill climb, last time it did it only on pavement getting from trail to the house.

Weird I shut it down to reboot it, and that was a mistake, it started and shut down on its own, but it would peddle and give power then shut off and give power, and after a mile of that it stayed on and got me home.

Says its the battery getting to hot

Same problem for me. How did you fix it?
