some pages above you wrote that the wheel sensor ring is supposed to work with 6-bolt discs only. Now rotwild came out with their new r.ex ultra and i discovered this:

so i assume the sensor ring is compatible with centerlock as one would expect some capable designers to have covered in their layout decision?

As long as the distance between sensor ring and speed sensor is within specification. You can use whatever you can machine to fit. But I think the point Amflow support makes. Is centrelock may not be directly compatible with a 6-bolt configuration, without mechanical modifications.

Today was my second ride on my PL carbon pro. Within 15 minutes of pedaling, I began to feel the motor shut off and when I look down at the display it would tell me something about the attitude of the bike. It did it over and over and over again. I rebooted the bike and it still did it only in trail mode. I then went to each mode and reset it to default. It still does it. Unfortunately the error is so fast, all I can read is something about the motor shutting off because of attitude position or something like that. Please help. I am very disappointed in this issue.

I've had the same on particularly rooty descents - it's to do with the 'extreme attitude protection' experimental feature. You have two options:

1: Try to recalibrate the bike on level ground.
2: Disable the feature in the 'experimental features' menu on the bike.

OSMO Action 5 DASHBOARD OVERLAY not working

Successfully paired my (firmware updated) Osmo Action 5 with the Amflow, I can wake, start and stop the camera with the control on the remote, but in the Mimo App I cannot add dashboard data, when trying to add the Avinox dashboard, the data isn't present.

What version of the Avinox firmware do I need to be running to support this feature?

Speed sensor ring works perfectly fine with Centerlock hubs, but you must use 6-bolt rotor.

You would need to use DT Swiss CL-> Bolt adapter. That adapter has a spacer that goes between rotor and locking. Instead of spacer, you will use DJI's speed sensor ring. No modifications needed.

Still not convinced this thing is neccessary and even build into in the picture above especially since the brake disc they use looks to be this one. I think they just slap it between disc and lockring.

Read my reply carefully. I said you need to use 6-bolt rotor with an adapter. You're picturing Centerlock rotor, which is different.

I would recommend for you to take your bike to the shop so they can help you out. You obviously have never installed CL/6-bolt rotor, and you're trying to "virtually" figure out how to do it. It's not that hard for even a junior mechanic to do, or for someone who installed a rotor before.

I would have swore you were right to, but he is correct. on a CL rotor the hub is inset a hair where the ring meets, so you cant tighten the CL nut down.

If you made a spacer or added a washer, double the thickness of the ring, it would work perfect. So it can be done but you will need to make a small spacer to go between the rotor and the ring. Or use a press and make the ring to have a little inset the size of the CL nut. Not going to be hard to make it work.

By having a second look at your pic, do you ride an onyx vesper rear hub? Funny, the peculiar rear hub i intend to use on my potential future amflow is a onyx classic mfu with xdr hub and centerlock. I am curious about the soft engagement
of the sprag clutch in combination with the motor rattle, this theoretically should alleviate the kickback to the motor gears a bit during rough commute?

Rotwild appears to use exactly same setup as I've been running on my bike for several months already.

As I'm trying to help the guy all I'm saying is that I'm running Centerlock hubs, with DJI speed sensor, and it works perfect. No need to re-engineer simple stuff, or try to reinvent things that have been invented prior.

The entire setup is super simple, and takes less than a minute for someone who installed even a basic rotor before.

Hubs are Onyx Classic, with Berd PolyX spokes (rated for DH/eBike use).

Onyx Vespers are not supported for eBike application.

There is no motor rattle, bike is 100% silent. I can only hear very slight motor hum when accelerating, which is expected. DJI motor for me has been way quieter vs other brands.

Newer Vesper/Classic hubs use updated clutch design which is more direct. Reach out to Onyx if you'd like to learn every little detail.

If you're looking for a defined pedal to rear wheel connection, eBike (and especially high-powered DJI) is not for you. Every motor will have a bit of lag before it senses torque and engages.

they probably have a washer or shim under it. Its not right without it

HS2 CL 220 rotor I have in my hand, is reset back a little bit, so the ring so there factually is a gap you do not want.

They did not make a CL hub bike. It is a 6 bolt bike. I hate CL Canyon so I run both kinds, and I go through rotors in a few months due to very high amount of miles I ride. And im telling you there is a gap between the hub where the nut is supposed to contact it.
