2026 Yeti LTE

Continuing to try and get this bike fit for my riding style and needs. Had a few questions for you all. What is considered full stroke on the Fox shock? Did I actually use it all up or no? See pic.

One behavior I’ve noticed is the bike feels very light on the front end and the steering seems to be twitchy. It feels tall and wide on the front end. I’ve moved my seat forward to try and get over the front end more but that didn’t do anything. This bike has the same length from center of crown to center of seat post as my Levo but it has a stem that’s about 1/2” longer than the Levo. Bars are the same width but I’m not sure about the bends. Would the longer stem cause this feeling on the steering? I would have thought I’d need a longer stem to get me over the front of the bike to make it feel more planted but I’m afraid to go any longer on it.

It depends on what you ride. Natural twisty stuff that's slower, the trail casing is perfect. Faster flat out trails, the trail casing is no good. I demoed one for a week and that was me feelings.

Pick mine up tomorrow. Can't wait.
What happened to the Atherton?

Try same stem. There is a text o. The shock n the most top. Shortly before it there should be maximum. If you use a podium you need to set it up real good for riding.

Don*t go longer on stem, try to ride a little more over the front and get you pressure in the tire correct. I weight 90 kg and I ride with 1.6 in the dry and I. Wet till 1.45 bar.

I’ll try a shorter stem and see how it goes. I weigh 77 kg and was running about 1.5 bar in the dry. Tires felt good, front end just felt “high” even when standing and peddling.

Ok hm the yetis are already real low. First try stem is my guess

Went on a pretty decent length ride today and mid ride I swore I was hearing some rattling coming from the engine area. After the ride I went and took the skid plate off and it had several rocks that somehow accumulated during the ride. These things were so big I have no idea how they got in there. I’ve got some of that foam I’m going to put on the inside of the skid plate but I’m baffled on where they got in.

My medium T3 had 1 blue as pictured. I ended up with 2 blues and up the pressure another 5psi from Yeti’s recommendation. Felt great, but I love tinkering and ended up with a Push coil and a 550lb spri

I've opened and I've found the same configuration. I removed the spacer to have full stroke.
My weight is nearly 100 kg and pressure of the shock is 226 psi.
Thanks

Removed the spacer to have full stroke? The spacers don’t limit stroke length. Or are you saying that because of the pressures you run the spacer was making it hard to use the full stroke?

I can*t imagine that. Probably false set up. Don*t saying it’s easy but I think it is that

Exactly the second. Due to pressure it's hard to use full stroke.
Without spacers the situation improved but not completely.
I will try to change shock position (35%).

What happened to the Atherton?
Delays, had a biking holiday which they knew of and always said if it doesn't come in May, I will have to cancel. I was first batch. Shame. I have ridden the Atherton briefly last week. It will be a good bike but having ridden a yeti lte for a week a couple of months ago, the LTE is defo the better bike. I just wanted to support the athertons, Im there every week and love what they do. But, if you have 9k of my money for 2 months and then delay it, its not great.

Got given a yeti lte to ride for a week or so and was very impressed. Got mine last Friday. Few decent rides on it and its as good as I remember. Im very impressed how close the yeti suspension setup got to being perfect for me. Im 6'1, 95kg and it only needed minimal tweaks to get it right. Very happy with my purchase (especially at a discount).

I may change the mavens, never been a huge fan but will give it a month or so and then see how I feel.

Got my first ride in with front and back radials at 24psi (I’m 165lbs). I could not break the tires loose. The traction was unheard of! Unfortunately I wasn’t able to ride the rough, chunky trails. Am looking forward to the next ride and experiencing them.

That color is awesome. What's the RideWrap option to change colors?
Oh gosh, I’m sorry. I used the ridewrap name generically. I bought some bulk product off eBay from the seller “Instawraps”. The actual material is their printable product using 3M ControlTac, typically used for graphic signage. I’ve wrapped a few bikes and gravitate to using 3M car vinyl, either 1080 or 2080. Both are very friendly to use.

I just placed my order for a Turquoise LTe T3. In anticipation of the bike getting here, I’m putting together a list of upgrades. Other than Cushcore and my preferred grips, what would you guys recommend for this bike? I see some people have got some foam and duct tape to fill the voids around the engine. What else should be on my radar? Does it needs STFU chain guide?
After a handful of rides, these are the mods I have done. Really loving the bike now other than a feel like I’m still under powered compared to my Levo 4.
New Deity Slimfit Grips
Shorter Stem
Cushcore front and rear
Yeti Clear Frame Stickers
Rockshox Thumb Button instead of the dual paddle for the dropper

I ordered a 36t chainring but I just learned that because Yeti uses a chain guide that mounts directly to the frame they say that you can’t run anything but 34t. 😔

Bro, you don't have an M2s, 36t isn't the right choice imo and it would render like 3 gears over the speed cut off.

You are right about that. I have a 36t on my Spec and it's great even in Eco mode and turning Class 3 on. Unless I derestrict the bike, the 36t isn't necessary with the Yeti. At this point I'm more bummed that I bought the chainring and can't use it.

Gratuitous photo of my pride and joy overlooking the Vegas valley.

Yeti Range w/ 800 vs 600w battery?
I am looking to switch to the 600 w battery and wonder what range/ elevation people are getting on the LTE with either/both batteries? I find that i ride in the e-mtb plus mode most often and seem to use alot of juice with the stock 800w.

I was yesterday riding in tour + and used 400 w of my 800w and had 1000 m of elevation.

I am using tour plus with +2 in power.

That said is I went uphill on a carroad with magic mary front and rear.

I’m about 210lbs and in EMTB+ I get about 2hr/4,000ft of climbing. My last big ride was 35miles/4,200ft and 3.5hrs long. I rode tour+ at -1/-1 for 1.5hrs of the ride, EMTB at 0/0 for about 1.5hrs and EMTB+ at 0/0 for the rest of the ride. I came back with 7% left of the battery.

I’m also interested in the 600wh battery, I believe my range would be in EMTB+ about 1.5hrs/3,000ft of climbing. My daily rides are between 1.5hrs to 2hrs. I’d be fine with that as I usually ride tour+, then EMTB, and finish off with EMTB+.

I also have a range extender, but haven’t used it.

I have had a Yeti LTe for about (3) weeks and have it set up MX w/ 27.5 rear. It is the equivalent T4 build spec. I can say that the handling and tracking on descents is top shelf. The bike wants to be pushed and laid over on berms and sticks like glue. I run Yeti Radial tires (Albert Trail ultra-soft front and Albert Trail soft rear on I9 wheels/ 35mm inner width carbon rims. The Bosch CX Performance motor and Kiox controller offer a mulitude of settings, which I have found to be less intuitive and user friendly to that, say of Specialized Levo 4 or Amflow/Avinox/Dji (I presently own both, along w/ the Yeti). The Yeti has a feeling all its own, preferring to be ridden fast and hard on the DH. I have strived to reduce the bike weight (800w battery from stock, purchased as a T3 spec and now run a 600w battery and Podium fork). The bike weighed 53.75# stock (T3) and my custom build now weighs in at 48.75#, a noticible difference on the climbs, while maintaining a sufficient range for the 2 hr., 25 mi. , 3500' vert rides I typically do. Overall, I have settled on the mtb+ setting with the various levels set to 4 of 5 (I find the motor to feel a bit underpowered in the lower settings , given the bilkes weight and mass ). Overall, I am very pleased with the bike, and still discovering its potential. The range seems on par with the other bikes I mention, I just wish the battery was easier to swap ( requires removal of a motor bolt and internal battery connector, not somthing to easily undertake on a trailside lunchbreak. The battery access was apparently a design consession due to the sixfinity linkage.
what wheel/tire combo are you running to get it that light? Anything else to lighten it?
