Some small parts missing. First ride on Weekend will not happen. :(
Any need a second HXC1700 wheelset, located in Germany?

Finally ready. Delivery of brake hose took more time than expected. Now ready and will take her out for a ride. 👍

I’ve never replaced an entire brake line before so I’m uneducated on that aspect. Did your LBS not have spools of it in stock? Or is there a special type of hose you needed?
I’m picturing brake line like derailleur housing.

I am the LBS myself, a hired wrencher will never get his hands on my bike, just purchased it as it is sold, picked it up and complety disasambled and reasambled it.
Besides of that the Trickstuff Maxima has its own braking hose. Of course it is possible to use not a original one but i am not a fan of having high quality stuff with non original parts.

The LTe looks great. Yeah, I wish was at least as light at my Shuttle AM but whatever. There is one nice benefit- going to the annual Yeti Gathering now as an older guy and sticking with the lead pack the whole day without getting destroyed on Day 1. I may have to get one just for that.

Hi,
Did you experienced any particular problem in installing the rear brake hose ?
Let me know any suggestions you may have. I have to install new brake next weeks .....
Thanks.
Works smooth when you drop the motor (its neccessary to do, otherwise the old hose will not move out). Just unscrew the front screw, few turns on the screw behind and you are good to go. Check the manual, its well and detailed written.

I didn’t think it was possible to do auto shift with the Bosch motor and any sram components. How are you going to do this?

As far as I know, it was a recent Bosch update, but having just goggled it, seem you maybe right, what bummer! Hope Bosch get their act together and catch up with Avinox and Shimano.
There are a LOT of us who want some sort of shift integration. Even coast shift would be awesome.

TRP E.A.S.I. A12 electronic derailleur and Shimano CUES Di2 systems for derailleurs and 3X3 NINE for internal gear hubs. Basically you would have to dump SRAM.

Just cut it slightly larger and push in down into the gaps. It could fall out but mine haven’t yet. As for the motor guard, I personally wouldn’t cover those, as they are most likely there for cooling. 👍
Just did a few weeks ago, and after about 6 rides in various conditions I have to say it solved the issue 90%. The other 10% of debris comes in the front side I think, through the small vent holes, but I am not really into plugging them with motofoam even they let air through. I am afraid of cooking the motor. But from the back it seals up nicely and stays in place perfectly! Thanks @DaveGo for the idea!

Your welcome.

Wondering what happens when input the bike in 27.5 mode but kee the 29er wheel.

Finally received my T3 and set up the suspension and tires per Yeti’s suspension calculator. I don’t recall if anyone chimed in on their experience with that but I am shocked at how far off the bike felt using their suggestions. I don’t know if the type of writing I am doing is not the same as what they are assuming I am? The bike feels like it is set up for some really aggressive downhill with big drops? I feel like I would have to tune down the air pressures by about 20% to get it to feel close to plush.

I’m a slightly different note. This is my first drive one of the Bosch motors and it is a very different product compared to my lethal four. I’m gonna have to do some research on what the settings do to get it to feel hopefully somewhat close to the specialized motor. The behaviors are very different.

Looking forward to all the trial and error to get this bike dialed!

It's mean as a starting point and people will adjust based on their preferences, terrain, etc.

I set mine per calculator and have yet to ride it. I did chose the middle of all psi/ranges suggested.

I’m aware it’s meant to be a guide. I’m also aware that different terrains and personal preferences also factor in. My surprise was that, in my situation, it wasn’t even close.

Ive found the calculator pretty much spot on. What kind of trails are you riding?
Rocky Las Vegas desert trails. No big drops but a fair amount of rock obstacles.
I normally would run tire pressures in the low 20’s but it is suggesting high 20’s. The tires are just bouncing over stuff.

Yeah the tyre pressures are well off. I dont like the stock trail caseing on the front, i had to run the pressure too high to stop it squirming, swapped it for a gravity caseing.

It depends on what you ride. Natural twisty stuff that's slower, the trail casing is perfect. Faster flat out trails, the trail casing is no good. I demoed one for a week and that was me feelings.

Pick mine up tomorrow. Can't wait.

Hi.
Do you know how many spacers are inside our Float X2 shock as per default (factory setting) ?
None?, One?, Two?
Just to know instead of opening the shock.
My bike model is T3 size L.
Thanks.

My medium T3 had 1 blue as pictured. I ended up with 2 blues and up the pressure another 5psi from Yeti’s recommendation. Felt great, but I love tinkering and ended up with a Push coil and a 550lb spring.

Try 1.6 -1.7 bar in front and 1.8 in back in the radials. The must feel short before flat. I mean feel not to be. You will have grip like nothing else.
