As a new owner of the 2026 Yeti LTe, I figured we should have our own thread.

I haven’t had a chance to ride it yet due to the weather in NorCal this past week. Hopefully this weekend!Welcome and merry christmas fellow LTe owner. Had my LTe for 7 weeks and loving it.
I have a question for the LTe owners: so this bike reviewed VERY well as a full 29er, does it ride just as well as an MX or is the ride quality in part a result of being a 29er?
I have to say that I really like how MX bikes steer, but I swapped my own Relay to straight 29er and I absolutely murdered my PRs as a result. I'm not quite ready to give up on MX but it does have me thinking...
I thought you could get the frameset in the US ? I would've gone that way if it was possible in the UK.I think you guys choose wisely and I do think it's probably the best chassis and motor combo out at the moment.
I just wish I could get it my way, like Burger King.

Yes I’m in CaliforniaThat's what I need...
Are you in the States?
$7K for a the frame, while pricey [like a Crestline], can start to make sense if you have take-off components on the ready.I found a dealer that was willing to sell me a frame but it was around 7K for the frame only. ...
I’m not saying it isn’t worth it. The quoted T3 price was good enough to make me not even consider the frame only though. I have the components on the ready including a Push Nine. One fork and a set of i9 wheels. I might part out my T4 and go with those components, I need to ride it first to know.Yah, that's a fair price imo.
Good job on getting a discount, bike looks awesome.I found a dealer that was willing to sell me a frame but it was around 7K for the frame only. The T3 was so close in price I ended up ordering it. They came back and said I couldn’t get the Turquoise until next summer. Yeti was able to find me a T4 though for a little more. I am excited to try the CX-R, hopefully this weekend if the weather would cooperate.

I have had a Yeti LTe for about (3) weeks and have it set up MX w/ 27.5 rear. It is the equivalent T4 build spec. I can say that the handling and tracking on descents is top shelf. The bike wants to be pushed and laid over on berms and sticks like glue. I run Yeti Radial tires (Albert Trail ultra-soft front and Albert Trail soft rear on I9 wheels/ 35mm inner width carbon rims. The Bosch CX Performance motor and Kiox controller offer a mulitude of settings, which I have found to be less intuitive and user friendly to that, say of Specialized Levo 4 or Amflow/Avinox/Dji (I presently own both, along w/ the Yeti). The Yeti has a feeling all its own, preferring to be ridden fast and hard on the DH. I have strived to reduce the bike weight (800w battery from stock, purchased as a T3 spec and now run a 600w battery and Podium fork). The bike weighed 53.75# stock (T3) and my custom build now weighs in at 48.75#, a noticible difference on the climbs, while maintaining a sufficient range for the 2 hr., 25 mi. , 3500' vert rides I typically do. Overall, I have settled on the mtb+ setting with the various levels set to 4 of 5 (I find the motor to feel a bit underpowered in the lower settings , given the bilkes weight and mass ). Overall, I am very pleased with the bike, and still discovering its potential. The range seems on par with the other bikes I mention, I just wish the battery was easier to swap ( requires removal of a motor bolt and internal battery connector, not somthing to easily undertake on a trailside lunchbreak. The battery access was apparently a design consession due to the sixfinity linkage.I can’t really answer that for you, as I haven’t ridden it in MX form. The one main advantage the LTE has over a lot of its competitors, you can choose which wheel setup you like, 29er or MX, which many of the completion don’t give you that choice, as they are only available in MX mullet form (at cost of having a spare 27.5 back wheel).
This video may help you.
I’m not selling my frame or motor.Sell me your T4 frame set with the CX-R?
I have good Avy suspension, new CB synthesis wheels and a NIB 600w Bosch battery here.
I misunderstood and thought you had two of them!I’m not selling my frame or motor.

Not sure this accounts for the entire other 3 pounds, but he:That's a very substantial weight decrease.
Besides the battery, what did you swap to drop the other 3#s?
Wow what a beauty, congrats! Can't wait to get ours.Maiden voyage. Awesome bike!

Was happy to see this! We debated over a few different full power bikes before deciding on the LTE. Husband has had an Orbea Rise since 2021, and a Heckler SL since 2023, loves both, but wanted more battery range and power for long self shuttle DH days.
