Owner of a 18 Sworks with ohlins coil, bike went in at 1000km+ for a seized motor, while i was there, tested a 19 expert and was blown away over the significant improvements, motor is smooth and silent, cant feel the disengagement at 25kph at all, bike feels alot ligther even though on paper the diffrence isnt much

Dealer gave me a good deal, so...here i am with my 2nd levo. Travelling this week, so will pick it up later, give me time to order stem/bar/pedals/grips and Ti bolts.

Congrats for new bike. I also visited LBS and testing some bikes. Came out with Stumpjumper Evo 29"

So i did my longest ride yet- 5200 ft/31 miles @ mostly 10% assist with a few 20% short climbs, but then the last 5 miles / 1000 feet i burnt out and used 30% assist. 47% battery remained so theoretically 10,000 feet and 60 miles is possible if the legs would cooperate

You should be able to claim warranty work from any specialised dealer? They just need to get it authorised??

No sadly I challenged and they say as you didn't get the bike from us (specialized concept store) they will cover parts of warranty but not work. otherwise goto the shop you bought it. Which for me is farther away and fuel and time not worth it.

Contact Specialized. That is not providing customer service and I think you will get positive results

So, I got base model Turbo Levo 2019. The fork is no good, I am starting to realize.
I have found a used Fox Rhythm Grip-R 160mm Boost 29” 44mm offset at 480€.
Is that a good upgrade? I am used to the Fox 32 Performance fork on my 29” XC bike.

What did you do with the brakes? Picked up my Levo (same model as yours) just today. Loved the first ride but the brakes did not feel as good as on S-Works that I had to sell due to sizing issues. My dealer offered to swap/upgrade the brakes while the bike is new, now trying to decide which brakes to order

Tony I recently got the Levo comp the one above base and it doesn't take long for the brakes to bed in but to me the brakes are superb on this bike and easily as good if not better than the Hope M4 brakes I had on a previous bike!

Thanks, Andy. Any special technic for proper bedding? I probably did the worst thing possible: went up 1000 m on the nearest mountain and then down with intensive (at times) braking. At some point brakes began to make an awful squealing sound, but that is probably because of the dirt.

Info that maybe usefull.
6'2" and 34" inseam. Xl frame is spot on.riding weight in kit 105kg.
700wh battery just ridden 65km in lake district, 1500m ascent and 34%charge left. Have reduced assistance in eco and trail modes, used turbo on big climbs only.
This bikes great for big days out..

Is there anything you’d change on the bike? My dealer is willing to swap parts and charge just the cost differential, but the offer is good only while the bike is new. Ship has probably sailed on tires after today )

Hi Tony all I did to both bikes was have the tyres changed to Magic Mary's and made tubeless and I put a new Ergon saddle on both bikes and upgraded to a 700wh battery on both bikes and the rest is stock.

I don't feel the need to upgrade anything else as for our riding the bike is perfect, we did a 46 mile off road ride last Monday on the North York Moors and both of us finished it with 27% battery left so that was great to know as we won't have any range anxiety

I also think people upgrade for the sake of it when the bike is just right as it is

Best way to bed in brakes us to use short quite hard braking on a short ride. Avoid getting the brakes hot initially. After a few short braking actions pour some water over the pads...puddle water is fine. All of this prevents glazing the pads which can only be rectified by removing the pads and using glass paper to remove the glaze.

Thanks. I changed the battery even before the delivery of the bike. After having ridden with a 700wh battery, it is hard to go back to to 500.

Nice one that 700wh battery was a great choice as it is so much better than a 500wh and it was worth the extra money to us

My bike came with code rsc , they work well. I was not a big sram fan but so far so good

Just came back from my first ride with her. I have some good plans for upgrading the fork, shocks and seating post but too early, I need to ride it a lot more first (at least that’s the plan ?)

The comp carbon Levo comes equipped with SRAM Guide RE brakes (which is Guide R levers combined with Code calipers). In order to have same brakes as on the S-Works you only need to upgrade the levers to "Code RSC" (since you already have Code calipers).

I bought a set of hope 203 mm brake disks, my brakes now dont need further upgrade. Scaring how hard you can brake with these discs and original pads.

Thanks. That’s what I will also probably do. Is there a reason why you went with blue rotor centerpiece instead of red?

Following a 320 mile round trip I now have my new Levo at home! In the end I went for the base model and already have a dropper on its way to me and I'll see how I get on with the forks before committing to swapping those.

So far I've only been out for a local ride (11 miles - farm tracks etc) but I'm seriously impressed. I was taking it easy (due to the fact it was new and not yet set up perfectly) but still set a couple of personal bests on some downhill stretches of track

Not realy, they were quit new on my previous Levo, have blue airvalve caps on the front fork, 34 fwd chainsprocket blue and blue derailleur wheels. I think it looks nice.

Just reporting in. My new Levo S-Works (M)

Having waited more than 3 months (I have never waited anything like that long for a new bike before - it is crazy how hard these are to get in Switzerland), my new steed has finally arrived. Picked it up today.

Hopefully it has all the latest upgraded covers and cable. Will check it over in detail this weekend.

The build date claims to be 8th May, which means if that is right, the bike got from the production line in Taiwan to Rotterdam, then on to Switzerland in less than 4 weeks. Is that even possible?

I bought my Levo comp a couple of months ago and at first I thought the brakes were a bit lacking after the set up on my stumpy , but now after doing a couple of hundred miles they are great, good power and really progressive ?

I had my motor replaced after 2 days due to the noise. 4 months later the new one stopped working. Worked on the way to work, didn't when I left. No assistance and a very high pitched whine on turbo. Being replaced under warranty which is great but makes me worry abut the longevity of these bikes. Here in Australia a replacement is $1350 plus GST (cost price) so you really don't want this going wrong out of warranty. I'm seriously being drawn to the idea of giving up on this bike, its always felt fragile to me, probably 1 in 10 switch on's has an error which is eradicated by turning on and off. I think the warranty on the motor needs to be 5 years, not 2 as here in Australia. Another concern is the bearings, surely they will wear and how do they get replaced on a sealed unit? A new engine?

I have to say my previous Bosch, for all its problems with excessive drag etc never ever missed a beat and is still going with its new owners. I realise this wont be a popular thread but Im just saying it how I see it.

Sympathise, I’ve had a new motor, 2x power cables and in the last 3 weeks 2 switch on errors of motor not found. My son has cube as a daily commuter, it’s never had an issue.
Mine is a base in yellow, good colour for a lemon.
