I had the same difficulty. Not the most comprehensive process from bosch o_O
Took some days to understand it. After APP and Bike software upgrade u have to do one more step to have available the 100nm option.
It´s an option in the APP.
I have a previous 140 and a 0ne77. I could, but never tried the new one44 yet.
I like bouth. I believe the one44 is maybe more versatil, Depending on spec, for ex the slx the 36 susp on the front is lighter than the 38 witch is a point to have in mind.
Acording to my local shop, they have a seriel number list with bikes to repalce the crank bolt . For ex mine 0ne77 slx it isn´t in the list. Also if they are propper torqued and with locktite shouldn´t (checked by the shop ) be an issue.
It´s a 2 step upgrade. I´ve strugled some time with my one77 also and I don´t know if the option was already available from the 1st day. I understand it latter. First we have to do the bike firmware update (with the lateste flow app version) , then u have to return to app , enter again bike...
Months ago it was told Bosch wasn´t accepting new brands (maybe due to limited motors availability). So DJI maybe had there an oportunity . Wondering if we will see DJI in future in other bike components (electronic transmissions?) ...
Yesterday I was moving it around at garage , I realise lots off creaking was from front brake (shimano XT) while light braking/initial biting (not from shock linkages). Checked if anyting loose but looks like ok. Maybe is the type of pads/rotors ??.
We have already lots of videos and others with lots of people (influenceres, testers, etc) testing diferent bikes with the upgrade.,
Why do u think is bosch olding back this release to the grand public? Does this make sense?
I´ve a cube 177 for about 4 months. It creaks like hell on inicial rides on rugged terrains. Now it´s becaming more quiet, or maybe I´m more used to it. Waiting fot 1st service to disassemble and grease some parts/bolts, etc.
