Anyone ever tested a similar difference in travel distance?
I live in Belgium and mostly go to the ardennes (hilly terrain) but also ride some local trails.
i now have an actionteam 140 from 2021 and replacing it with eighter a ONE44 or ONE77...

i'm a bit scared that the One77 will feel more wobbly due to the higher travel?

I believe One44 is going to be a better all rounder/do it all than the one77, but I´m with the same dilema.
No one77 demo yet on my local dealer, and I´m going probably to wait. 1st bike arriving this wek to store.

was at the LBS 2 days ago and we talked about it, he only has 2 clients with the 170's from last model and they are heavy bike park users...
for all local trails, incl the hilly side of belgium, most are happy with the 140 (150mm)
so he made a quote for me and i'm expecting it around march :)

One155 has bosch gen 4 as to one44 and 77 have the 5th gen. I'm also looking at the one44 (slx or tm, dunno yet) or perhaps I shall wait and see the trek rail+?

Hi, I am continuing this thread as I have the same dilemma. I am coming from a Specialized Levo SL with 160/160 suspension. Buying a full fat eMtb and deciding between One44 HPC and One77 HPC. I will use the bike to ride singletracks only, as I have other bikes for gravel an touring. Just local trails. Not planning to ride bikeparks. Would appreciate if anyone could suggest me one over another. Thanks.

One44 seems better for trail use, which is why I'm considering it over the One77. There are times where I wound get the benefit of the extra travel and mullet set up, but for 90% of my riding the 140mm One44 would be perfect.

Do you find yourself overbiked on the Levo?

No, Levo SL was my perfect bike in terms of suspension travel, size selection and riding feel. Very nimble and easy to handle. I sold it just because with a 35 nm motor I found myself using turbo mode almost all the time and that drained its small battery quite quickly. Besides that, the bike was excellent.

In that case they One77 may still be worth considering.

Hopefully some people who have tried both will reply.

I'm opting for 144 for the same reason. Just regular trail rides, steep climbs and flowy descends. No parks or jumps.

I have a previous 140 and a 0ne77. I could, but never tried the new one44 yet.
I like bouth. I believe the one44 is maybe more versatil, Depending on spec, for ex the slx the 36 susp on the front is lighter than the 38 witch is a point to have in mind.

One77 has a feel of a big enduro bike - it wants to eat some gnar terrain, jumps and drops. Go with one44
