Can you explain in greater detail?they are afraid, asked them about frame only last year, citing regulatory concerns![]()
It is a "new" frame technically.
Looks the same but the seat tube on the edread is much thiccer. It is a "new" frame technically.
But I'd be really surprised if that front triangle wasn't the same as the druid-e.
You are correct, nice to see.Looks the same but the seat tube on the edread is much thiccer.
You broke your rear triangle? Explain pleaseperfect for me as mines broken![]()
Yeah, hadn't noticed it really at first but you can see how much beefier it is at the rocker when comparing the twoYou are correct, nice to see.
Starting to feel a little regret for cancelling my order, lol !
You'll be able to order a full wrap from Ride Wrap that takes into account the factory wrap already installed on the bike.Wooo Hooo... at last!
Now where's my bike! Waddaya mean I gots to wait...wahhhh
Now I've got to say... not sold on how they've put the colour design together.
I do think the Tier 2 is the best looking. I like the red, but that straight cut from red to black...yeah nah... should have faded or just made that whole front end black.
Same with the Tier 2, that grey...shoulda made it all black.
No matter, my money is down, now to get the longest Rockshox Reverb ASX dropper post in... looks like it's gunna have to be the 200mm, was going to try and get the 225mm in.
Interesting to see it comes ride wrapped... but is the whole bike done or just bits? I have asked, I'll post when I find out.
Now onto collecting my orange bling!
What makes you feel like the tier 2 is not worth the money at that price point? I’m looking at that build with the 600 wh battery. The anti rise chart looks a bit suspect, lol.
That's the behaviour I'm most interested in, as any artifacts from using the druid front triangle will likely show up there.
I'd dare to say the tier 1 build is better value than the tier 2.
I've cancelled my order for the tier 2 based on what you get for your money, and the fact that it was only available as an 800wh at my dealer.
The tier 1 paint looks good, the rest are pretty "meh".
from a canadian pricing standpoint, t1 is $1700 more expensive...and the only functional upgrade over t2 is carbon wheelset and faster charger. What makes you feel like the tier 2 is not worth the money at that price point? I’m looking at that build with the 600 wh battery.
This is kind of where my head was at between the t1 and t2 as well.from a canadian pricing standpoint, t1 is $1700 more expensive...and the only functional upgrade over t2 is carbon wheelset and faster charger.
Groupset/Brakes - sure x01 might be better vs GX, but questionable. Both mavens.
Suspension - Top shelf Fox vs Sram 2027 products..so comes down to preference
Dropper - V3 vs TransX.. same amount of drop.
Wheelset - Carbon vs Alloy < this is the real stand out functional feel. Again comes down to preference, but carbon for sure wins here.
Charging - t1 wins here with the 504w charger vs 168w.
Personally t2 is the winner mainly for the colorway of the frame and I don't need fast charging. Both t1 and t2 build will suffice even racers. However I wish they had frameset option.
The carbon wheels and fast charger are a $2700 value for $1k more. What makes you feel like the tier 2 is not worth the money at that price point? I’m looking at that build with the 600 wh battery.
Fast Forward three weeks and you'll be receiving a Tier Infinity buildThe carbon wheels and fast charger are a $2700 value for $1k more.
That said, I've changed my mind (again) and a tier 2 build is inbound.
800wh battery unfortunately, would have preferred the 600. Perhaps I'll find someone to swap with.
Buying skill, is a skillFast Forward three weeks and you'll be receiving a Tier Infinity build![]()
Initially I was looking at all the Tiers on my phone. Now that I've seen them on the big screen at work, you know, they look alright. Will be interesting to see what they look like IRL... I'm still excited. This is kind of where my head was at between the t1 and t2 as well.
I prefer the t2 colorway now after seeing them. The red had me super excited with the teasers but I was expecting their traditional mixed coloring style.
I could see myself owning one of those.I saw it at Sea Otter today.

Other than the Slash+, I haven't seen EMTBs with lower chain tensioners, which is admittedly interesting. With HP idler and lower tensioner, both would pretty much knock out chain-induced feedback at the pedals.I find it interesting that there is no lower idler on this bike to control chain growth, as there was with the acoustic dreadnought. Less growth overall perhaps ?
You broke your rear triangle? Explain please
Seems perfect for what I do with my e-bikes, which is steep climbs to dh style trails, mostly on ski hills/mountains in bc and western alberta."Based on that one ride, I'd say the Dreadnought E is best saved for folks who have very fast, very rough trails. Slower speed tech and mellower terrain will be easier to navigate and more fun on the Druid E, so be honest with yourself if you're weighing the two options."
Lot of the review echos what i thought, seems one hell of a bike for the right rider but probs quite location dependent
