Forbidden DreadNought E

Also, didn't someone say the front triangles are the same on the Druid/Dreadnought

So in theory you could stick a Dreadnought rear end on a druid 🙄😂
Thinking that myself. I have a 170 zeb on my core but don't feel limited for travel on the rear at all. Been pretty pleased with the Vivid but after 200 plus hours she could do with a freshen up. Mate picks up his edread tomorrow even though he still knows very little about it other that the new Zeb fork and coil Vivid

Yeah I'm more than happy with mine for how and what I ride, Its more than capable even on bigger enduro stuff but would save getting a whole new bike in the future 😂

Hmm 🤔 that's very red... I'm starting to get worried about the tangerine 🍊 could be a bit too orangey for my liking....sigh

Is that really confirmed? Going from a 210x55 to a 230x60 or 65 is a difference. That would not fit at all without moving the upper eyelet of the shock a Lot Forward. Using trunnion mount instead on the linkage in 205x whatever would certainly fix that :) with the Same ratio of travel to shock stroke 62.5mm would already be enough for 170mm or rear wheel travel..

I'm just going by what I seen mentioned, If it is just the shock being trunnion mount them even better but I don't think there is clearance on the Druid for that?

If the trunnion mount is on the linkage the lower eyelet stays the same. There is enough clearance above the top shock eyelet in the Druid front triangle. Dont know why a shorter overall shock with 205mm shouldnt fit. Linkage only needs to be wider and chainstays seatstays Most likely change to grt the geo slack again
We will see.. but I somewhat doubt as well that they would design a totally different front triangle, especially if the batteries stay the same. AS i have heard there were Initial rumors of 2 versions AS Well.. lite with 170/160 and core with 180/170..

Yeah. Just checked the short on their YouTube channel. It definitely looks like a metric vivid coil. 😂

here they are
Wooo Hooo... at last!

Now where's my bike! Waddaya mean I gots to wait...wahhhh 😭

Now I've got to say... not sold on how they've put the colour design together.

I do think the Tier 2 is the best looking. I like the red, but that straight cut from red to black...yeah nah... should have faded or just made that whole front end black.

Same with the Tier 2, that grey...shoulda made it all black.

No matter, my money is down, now to get the longest Rockshox Reverb ASX dropper post in... looks like it's gunna have to be the 200mm, was going to try and get the 225mm in.

Interesting to see it comes ride wrapped... but is the whole bike done or just bits? I have asked, I'll post when I find out.

Now onto collecting my orange bling!

It's just on the high wear areas no?

Probably done the colours that way to differentiate them to the Druid cause otherwise I don't think you'd be able to tell. They look identical really 😂

Yeah, watching the video, high wear zones. TBH, I mean they've gone to the effort to do parts of the bike, just do the f#$ing whole thing. I'm paying enough!

Those are some supernought geos and graphs.. will definitely need to get some ride review to see what’s going on.

The dealer I got my Druid from has a demo day next month and should have a Dreadnought so may head along to it. Probably won't be my size but keen to serle them side by side

The anti rise chart looks a bit suspect, lol.
That's the behaviour I'm most interested in, as any artifacts from using the druid front triangle will likely show up there.

I'd dare to say the tier 1 build is better value than the tier 2.
I've cancelled my order for the tier 2 based on what you get for your money, and the fact that it was only available as an 800wh at my dealer.
The tier 1 paint looks good, the rest are pretty "meh".

yeah their charts are definitely not consistent between all bikes.

I am more interested in their anti squat....seeing what the Yeti LTE has provided + their ride characteristic, that's what I am after, but I want more than 160mm of travel.

Looking at the geo charts I don't think they are the same front triangles but could be wrong.

Have emailed Forbidden to get a breakdown of the actual differences between the two frames 😅

Yeah I was looking at S3 vs S4 at first 🙄

The extra 20mm fork length would get you the same H/A as well right?

What dealer? The closest Forbidden dealer to me is CycleHighlands, they’re still like 2 hours from me.
