120 Nm update for the Bosch CX and CX Race Announced

Some folk are never happy..🤣 How do you think I feel, I’ve got the SX motor and definitely feel like the poor relation now, forgotten about, not worthy of attention…..

It’s the Garmin live data update that has got me interested in this update.

PS, no app update showing for me yet, 07:40.
I just updated the bike, let's see later this evening whether it kills me or not 😁

I've got no update showing on my current flow app & no new flow app on play store 😭
Will take a few days for the update to be propagated to Google Store in all regions. If you want to have it ASAP try Flow app update from Apple Store

No update yet here on iPhone App Store either.

I’m convinced it will appear as soon as I finish my 3hr ride lol

I'm not sure if my 2022 Cube performance line cx ( BDU3741 )
will even get the update??
85nm is great but an increase would be welcomed.
No, you'll just get an increase in assistance to 600%, presuming Cube have not added any restrictions. When your flow app shows the update (mine updated overnight) it gives the info in the 'What's new?' section.

So I'll be stuck with 85nm?
Would an assistance to 600% make a difference?
Sorry I'm not familiar with nearly everything ebike related 🫣

Just got updated Flow app version in Google Play Store in Poland

App just updated on iOS

Literally in the car park just as I was about to ride. Groups all waiting now lol

Measurement for CX4: To call up the maximum output of around 540 watts, almost 180 watts of power are required from the rider.
Only difference will be a bit less rider's power requiered for max motor output (around 100W - It won't actually be exactly 600%) for speed up to 15km/h.

Just put it in turbo and tell everyone it updated fine Phil šŸ˜‚
I reckon this update is avinox trolling Bosch and it actually does nothing - tomorrow there will probably be an announcement avinox have acquired Bosch bike division and are shutting it down for being too slow. Either that or cube are limiting it to their new range, again to make you buy an avinox bike

So I will get an update sometime from today for the assistance upgrade? Thanks

For those not seeing any change. Delete and reinstall flow app, then go to components, drive unit and you should see the next phase (20 second) update to get the actual adjustment installed…faff, my kid could vibe code something better than this, but at least it works

Anyone know where to adjust the overrun and if it’s possible to turn down the 600% assistance?

Those on Android - have patience - Bosch has released it to Google Play but the sync is taking some time across Google's servers. The app version is 1.35.6 and is slowly making its way out there

App and bike updated. But no sign of the Garmin integration šŸ˜…
It's there - just follow these steps:

Thanks! I was under the impression that they would also add an integration on the ā€œConnected Servicesā€ section in the app but that doesn’t seem to be the case (I don’t have a Garmin Edge and was hoping Bosch would push the data directly from the app to Garmin Connect)

If it was configured they way you're depicting that would still involve recording the activity in Flow app and only the final activity results would be pushed through to Garmin API.

The main trick here is to make power/cadence data avaialble in real time to an external device during the activity
