@cozzy if you have an L frame can you do me a favor when you have the occasion could you measure from the top of the charging port to the crossing of the frame like here:

Thanks a lot

I would use the 4a for most charges, but take the 12a with me for big days out and lunchtime fast charges.
What is especially annoying is the complete unavailability of the 12a charger presently in the uk.
Ordered one from Italy but its not been shipped yet, so maybe they were lying about it being in stock.

So ive currently got a bike i cant use for what i intended. Not driving 2.5 hours to wales for half a days riding.

I would say 425mm before the radius.

has anyone else experimented with the rear wheel size flip chip orientation? Since changing mine to 29” (but keeping a mullet) I’ve reduced the perched on top feeling I was getting; at the expense of a few pedal strikes. I think it reduced the BB, slackens ST and HA

Someone on Facebook says even the old C1 version of the Vivid Coil fit a medium, but the updated chart still says it doesn't. If it does fit, maybe some other 'incompatible' shocks also fit? Like maybe the EXT Vecta/Storia and first gen Ohlins?

the issue is that a static tryout does not show the full picture. If you put a fully compressed damper (no air/coil) in the frame that's standing in your workshop there might be enough clearance. What is much harder to evaluate is what happens under load. All the parts of the frame have some degree of flex. One specific damper might work for most people, and for some others it works most of the time. But when some 100kg giant plus gear bottoms out hard on a particular large drop the piggy back might crash into the frame.
And since Velduro themselves state they are very conservative in their assumptions many dampers are ruled out. If you have one that is not officially compatible but fits with good clearance in static condition you might be lucky it works also in the rough. Velduro just will not guarantee it.

10mm flex inside a carbon triangle?
There is no way to get carbon flex this much in that direction. There may be a bigger amount of torsional flex as we would believe, but not in a way that the piggyback would hit the frame when it has 100mm clearance with fully compressed shock!

You might be right. I looked at this video, especially around 9:24:
No way to get actual measurements, but it looks like especially in the lower area of the main triangle there is not much flex visible at all.
Of course, different bikes will have different behaviors. But the Rogue with it's (until now unofficial) cat5 rating should be on the stiffer side.

Update

The current Chain stay length is 440 with a tolerance of +- 1mm see below. We are flying in the 450 rear triangles to arrive in UK on May 10th they will be free issued to anyone who has ordered an XL bike or frame and to anyone else through our website. Chain ring bash guards are available now at £15.00 plus PnP from [email protected]

Below is a CnC'd version of the linkage, Rob has one and there is just one more available in the UK. Currently we are not stocking them. They are exactly the same in all dimensions as the black Version.

Current frames are certified to cat 4. We are awaiting the final 5 categorisation testing in Germany, this could take time. Current frames must be considered Cat 4 until we officially announce the Cat 5 certification.

@Velduro UK : can you tell us what kind of AXS power cable is needed to connect the M2S with SRAM AXS derailleurs? I hear that it's not the same one as for the M1, but what is it? Do you have a partnumber? It's used in the Rogue R, but I can't find anything more specific.

Decision paralysis for me, stuck between the Velduro and Mondy Zendit! The fact that the My27 Vivid is now supported on the Velduro but not the Mondy, is swinging it a little for me. Anyone in the same boat or offer any words of wisdom lol?

Hello,
I never tried Zendit, but went from E-Storia to Vivid Coil 2027 on Rogue and it PLOWS!

Based on my experience with the Kenovo SL I'd never consider a bike with compromised dropper insertion length like Zendit, Crestline etc. again. Sure you can get away with it but it never feels good, especially if you have a second non e bike with proper insertion length.

Yeah, that's what's putting me off the Crestline (apart from cost and availability): the S2/medium has a 420mm seat tube but a very short reach, and the S3/large has a massive 450 seat tube, and neither can fit a long dropper. Otherwise, it's the only bike that ticks all my boxes: removable battery, dual crown compatible, adjustable travel right up to 200 mm, adjustable geometry, available as a frameset as well as a full bike. So good except for the seat tube/dropper issue.

+1000

I also considered Unno Mith and Crestline before putting my money on Velduro last winter. The Rogue was the only one giving me enough saddle drop to comfortably face steep stuff that I have been chickening out of on my older bikes.

Surely it's a bit heavier and does not look as nice (esp. the ticker downtube) but it's substantially cheaper and it rode beautifully when I tested it in the fall last year.

I am also not as good of a rider to appreciate what people claim is a more precise handling of VPP suspension. I rather prefer what I found to be an incredibly sensitive rear suspension on the Rogue i-Track. It's a better fit for my age, riding style and capability.

All of this without mentioning the fact that it costed me ~$1.5k less. Which I can spend elsewhere :)

At the end of the day it's a very personal decision - what works for you depends on what you need the most :)

anyone has the exact length and thread pitch of the rear axle?
It's udh so that must be a standard pitch. I'll check length tomorrow when i have the wheel out to complete the helitaping if no-one else has replied.

UPDATE 181mm M12 x 1.0

... and still no DVO shocklist. Whadda what WOT!? The Jade X is a def yes @65mm stroke on a Medium.

Do I need to take the motor out to thread the dropper outer cable?
Yes as well as the brake/gear hose. Pay attention to the serrated motor washers when reassembling as per the manual.
I also had to remove the battery to access the internal cable channels.
Also torque all frame bolts, all were loose.
I found the display really hard to remove first time. Its hooked at the back, i ran a credit card around it to start lifting the front. Subsequent removals have been fine.
Check you aren't pulling the brake line tight by cycling the suspension through its travel. Needs a reasonable loop of slack between the chainstay and frame ports.
Frame comes with flipchips set for 29.

There is literally nobody that is selling it. DIY at the moment seems the only way to go :-(
They are not for sale to the public at this point as they are all going into the new bikes, absolute pain in the arse for all the people who were advised to buy the Higo….
