Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

can anyone tell me for sure if the rear postmount is 203mm as the website says or 200mm as their pdf says?
No-one has got a production frame yet, so i wouldn't take much notice.
From what ive read, preprod had 203mm, prod due in April should be 200mm.
I would hold off buying anything until you can verify yourself though to be on the safe side.

I wasn't aware of that... interesting. Also thanks that's saved me buying the wrong disc size!

I've just checked and both the UK and main website have been updated to say 203mm so I would assume that. Or wait for the frame to arrive

I'm lucky in that Ive always run 203mm

From the fb groups, bikes were coming with a 200mm rotor when the post mounts were actually 203mm, so uneven pad wear. Was advised prod pm would be 200mm though.
Unfortunately velduro uk have released some duff info in the past, the geo chart wheelbase is still wrong on their site despite being disproved months ago.
Doesn't really affect me as I have a 220mm rear & +17 & +20 adaptor, so it will fit regardless.
Waiting a few more weeks is definitely the best option.

i have everything for 203mm discs but would need a +17 pm adapter if it’s a 203mm tab if i‘d mount a 220mm disc which is nothing i have in stock in our store

Hi everyone,

Just to clarify and apologise for any confusion around this.

During final tolerance checks on the production bikes we were informed of a small rotor compatibility detail on the Rogue R with the SRAM Maven brakes. The difference is minimal, but enough that it could lead to uneven pad wear if the incorrect rotor size is used.

The Rogue rear post mount is designed for a 203 rotor (minimum size), not 200mm as previously stated.

As SRAM does not currently produce a 203mm rotor, Rogue R complete bikes will ship with a premium brand rear 203 rotor to ensure correct alignment out of the box.

For anyone building a frame-only Rogue, please ensure you install a 203mm rear rotor minimum.

Thanks for your patience while we clarified this and apologies for the earlier misunderstanding, this was brought to our attention just a week ago and we wanted to make absolutely sure before making a public statement.

Finally, with the first shipment now just weeks away, we’re really looking forward to getting everyone’s framesets and full builds out as quickly as possible.
If you have any enquiries we’ll do our best to respond as soon as we can. We’re a small team here in the UK, so thanks in advance for your patience and support both here on the forum and on Facebook 👊

All the best,

Velduro UK

what about cat5 certification? in the article velduro posted about the carbon production it was stated it gets tested against cat5 standards, but ist it certified? and if not, why?

Not sure if this has been covered already, being a new company what's the warranty support network for example if there is a motor or battery issue,?
Motor and battery are covered by Avinox. Team at Velduro has been super responsive to any questions or concerns I’ve had.

Here is 1000km of wear on the idler. Visually there looks to be hardly any aside from the paint. I also weighed both to see if there was a difference, both weighed exactly the same. I have a second one as it came with the updated idler kit for better alignment. Trying the first ride on it this afternoon to see if there is a difference, visually it looks to be .05mm more in board than the original spec.

Do you have to request and pay for the upgrade? Mine is not aligned also, and with the hanger purposely not aligned it just looks weird.

I just heard from my Swiss dealer that ,as mentioned earlier, the MiddleEast conflict has indeed delayed the delivery of the first container with the bikes for our region. This means that bikes originally slotted to arrive end of March will now arrive at the shop on the last week of April.

Posting it here as I assume this container is actually containing bikes for multiple European markets (as it's landing in Rotterdam).

As far as I know, yes, they should have "the new gear" but what exactly that is and in which configuration has not been communicated. Due to NDAs you will not see confirmation of this in writing anywhere... Probably for another ~2-3 weeks.

I suggest you speak with the dealer and seek some direction.

Depending on what you are after, you may also have to wait for the second container which should arrive in May/June, as most of the bikes/frames arriving in the first one were pre-ordered a long while ago (I preordered mine in September!).

Thanks! Where did you order it from? I’m planning to order it from Veloeggä AG. Their shop states that it will arrive on April 2nd, but I’m not sure if that’s accurate.

I think that is highly unlikely. First, the containers going to Europe seem to be delayed, so they are not physically available. And even if they were already here they would not be delivered to you due to the embargo on the M2 (which is more or less confirmed they will have). So only after the official release and lifting of the embargo you will get your frame.

I concur.

My bike was ordered from Veloegga and the information I reported came directly from them. Their website has not been updated yet

Reach out to them over email. They are extremely approachable and responsive

i asked the importer today…

I was under the impression that at least all the EU destinations would get their frame out of Giant in Netherlands instead of China. Seems the Middle East mailstrom would not affect those shipments.

All this speculation and investigation work is very entertaining 😂. Please keep it up guys. Not long to go now, il wait for an official update from @Velduro UK

I just got a slot for the next container! The Swiss dealer still has some slots available (including with the Fox X2). He said that as of today they should arrive in the last week of April, give or take one week and they’ll also come with the new motor.

Has anyone tried fitting an Intend Monoqoque or an Intend Moto V2 coil/air, 205×65 mm shock in a size L frame? Is it maybe possible to move the charger port deeper into the frame using a 3D printed part?

What shock are you planning to ride?

Does anybody know the weight comparison to a Crestline or Unno Mith frame? Is it really that much heavier than other Enduro Avinox Frames? I’m aiming for a sub 23 kg build with 180/170 mm travel and my Moto V2 suspension.

Ugh, because they are being manufactured there at Giant's plant in Lelystad, Netherlands? Complements of the Thread Summary Page:

Frame: Carbon, 3.5kg. Manufactured at Giant Kunshan (Australasia/NA) and Giant Netherlands (EU). Cat 5 certification in progress. Matte black only.

Besides, way back I was in close contact with Velduro in China and was asking about version differences between bikes coming out of China compared to Netherlands. I wanted a frame from Netherlands because the duties would be less if imported to the States. They said the frames have to come from China for the North America, so I dropped the Netherlands angle. I assumed that this was the case even now for EU, hence my prior question.

you do know how much people in the netherlands make per hour? there is a reason why carbon is made in asia, wages. the only bike production happening in europe is assembly, because the customs on complete bikes are way higher than on parts. stop making a fool of yourself…

@Rob Rides EMTB that above is exactly the reason why ai slop summaries in forums is a bad idea. gullible people with no common sense like our boy here will believe everything your bot fantasies for them…

Straight from the Velduro moderator on the Velduro FB Group way back in in September 2025 when inquired about where the bikes were made: Giant China for Australasia, and Giant Netherlands for EU. You can contact the moderator yourself, as he is not a chatbot like poor old Greg. And I'm not chatbot because I didn't hallucinate when I was exchanging privy communications with Velduro about Netherlands fab details last year. You, OTOH may very well be a chatbot as your interactions are becoming increasingly predictable with lower informational value each time. Time to nuke your system prompt.
