New CEF69 bafang m510 and bafang m560 and cef50 bafang m820 frames

Its 21lbs lighter, being said I had a absolute blast on my Frey; over 4000km; and with 170NM but 70lbs... yikes. I am very excited to ride this and see how much faster it will be with only 150NM and 49lbs.

Ill still use it for towing the dog trailer, and around town! My wife will also start riding it.
Torqshred, what chainring did you install? Looks different from what I received..

Almost finished. Will post some photos and a full build sheet shortly. For those that are curious, With full 29" the center of BB to floor is 355mm. With mullet setup it is 330mm center of BB to floor. Thats with a 2.4 rear 27.5 tire. And 170/160 travel.

Thank you. Went with Gloss. I thought about Matte for a moment...But nah....I want peoples retinas to burn when they look at it.

I’ll show off my machine as well – this was its first mountain trip, though a light one, just to make sure everything’s working fine. I can already tell that despite having a very similar geometry to the LCE930, it handles quite differently, and we’ll need some time to get in sync :-D. But the most important thing is that the size is a perfect fit for me (L frame – 187cm).

The M510 rev3.0 motor is more than powerful enough; it's a bit quieter than the M820, but the walk assist is just as botched (I literally have to wait for the bike because it pulls so slowly). The battery management is slightly better, but they could definitely let it drain more (2% on the display is 42.0V, which means 3.23V per cell).

Are most of you running a 800 W battery? I got a quote today for a 510 motor but it was with a 700 W battery is it better to go with an 800 W?

Mate look up the BBR from K1Fash you can change the lower voltage, Dado is active on here also, I have BBR so i can do few buttons ulock speed and easly back, Rather then pluggin in Besst but dont think you can adjust voltage of cutoff.

I want to change the max speed from 45, is the BBR the best option?

Besst runs around 100 bucks in Canada.

I agree! I am impressed with the ride!!! I have a quick question/favor. I have the very slightest of play in the non drive side closest to rear axle pivot. What is strange is that particular pivot bolt is a 5mm instead of a 6. I’ve tried just about everything with the provided hardware to try and get it to be perfect like the other pivots. Would you mind looking and tell me if any of your pivot bolts have a 5mm and where that 5mm is located? Do you have any slight play at all at that location? TIA.

Can you take a pic? Will see on mine later when my frame arrives, good to document stuff like this for other people who are building.

Could they have made a mistake and sent it wrong?

Really no photo as it’s all together. You can only hear a small thud. If you could layout all of the washers, spacers, and screws in the correct position with where they go in the frame that would be really helpful. You need to pull all of them anyway to grease/carbon grease and put blue lock tight on. Here is the location:

Maybe ask szzs if a mistake was made there? Ill make a note of this and check when mine arrives. Medium loctite and grease yeah thats what everyone should do but whats carbon grease? Are you talking about carbon assembly paste for seatpost? Im not aware of any carbon specific grease.

Im also not the guy who you originally replied to but your message caught my eye haha.

Sorry. Yes carbon paste. I will ask sZZS as well. It’s so minor but would like to resolve it.

I starting playing around with the 3 screws. I moved the smaller screw that was originally located in the mainframe pivot to the rear pivot with the issue and that seems to have corrected it. Will ride it today and see. I asked szzs to please send a photo of what screws and washers go where. It’s a tad confusing because my buddy’s frame came fully attached but mine arrived where I had to install the swing arm. What is still a mystery is the rear pivot in question is a 5mm hex on the outside where all the others are 6mm. I can’t help to think that has something to do with it. Will post up what I learn.
If it fixed it thats great to hear, its understandable that theres some drawbacks ordering framesets from china but wish they would color code the bolts and supply us with a mini manual or something so theres less risk of user error if you need to assemble it yourself.

💯. They need torque specs and a frame layout of where the hardware goes. Otherwise the experience and assembly has been quite enjoyable. The customer service has been top notch also. The frame rides better than I could use imagined. So far so good with it in the mullet setup. 152 cranks are a must if you want to run mullet.

It’s here! I’ll share more photos and impressions this weekend once the build is complete.
Hi, just curious do you have any issues with your shock contacting your frame? I am mostly finished with my build and have the same shock, but starting about halfway through the shock stroke the lip of the shock where it says Evol starts hitting the frame at the underside of the top tube.

I am not the guy who you replied to but this is quite worrying, @nvcheeko also has issues of another fox shock contacting the frame. I looked up 4leafs video and even here it looks quite bad, this looks like a design flaw if shock compatibility is this bad. Picture is from the video. I think we should pester szzs about this, this might lead to broken frames...

Yeah it's a little odd given that a fox float X seems to be the most common shock I see installed on these but no one has mentioned any frame clash issues yet. Maybe there's just something slightly different about my frame and hopefully there aren't a bunch of people out there with this problem who don't realize it. I originally installed a rockshox super deluxe coil and had to switch it out since it rubbed the underside of the top tube early in the stroke.

It was approximately 4 months from the time I sent the money to the time I received my bike in Ontario Canada. The dates they had suggested were correct, and everything was there. I ordered the wheelset with the bike too, they arrived in another package, but in the same shipment. The UPS tracking number they had given me, and what we used were two different one. I kept checking and the UPS tracking stating it was waiting for the package, not even 15 minutes after checking UPS was at the door dropping the bike off.

So far everything has gone together great. I have ordered a set of 152mm cranks for the bike, as well as some final touches. The bike looks amazing, and ready to ride when this ice stops flying here !
Are you having any frame contact issues with the fox float X towards the end of the stroke?
