These U.S. tariffs are so cool. So glad I can’t buy anything I want now.How did you get this in California? They told me no US importer
At least the country is great again. F*ck me.

What is your height, rider weight and what bike frame size did you go with and any other pertinent details to help people with sizing. ThanksBuilt this thing with old parts that have come off many bikes, most recently a Crestline S180.
I’ve only had one real ride on it so far, and a “atmospheric river” is going to keep me from riding for a bit
But my early takeaways;
-Build quality is great, lots of attention to detail. All bearings were well greased. Torque numbers on all hardware is always appreciated.
-Building this was quite easy and straightforward. Running brake cable in the down tube was the hardest part, and it was quite easy compared to many others I’ve built.
-The packaging was incredible with no plastic to be seen anywhere. All parts were clearly labeled. Even the frame was wrapped in a cloth bag.
Riding it!
-my current setup is Zeb at 180mm, ‘26 Fox X2 (205x65), Radic brakes, WAO wheels Mx setup, sram GX transmission, AXS 170mm dropper.
-this thing is fast and fun up hill, thanks to the Avinox motor.
-the idler pulley makes a little bit of a “growl” when under a heavy load. Not a bad noise, just a new one for me. But shifting has been flawless.
-Downhill this thing is in a league of its own! The mid high pivot seems to turn chatter and small bumps into speed. It feels like your “pumping”’ speed on the way down. I thought my Crestline was the best rear suspension ever, until I rode this. This bike is supple, nimble, poppy and fast. I don’t have much if any motor noise on the way down. The rear suspension is so good, it’s got me looking at new fork options to match.
Gripes
-the limited number of shocks that fit this frame is my only current gripe. I have an EXT Arma and a Vivid Air I was planning on using, and neither will fit. Having to buy a new shock to fit this frame was disappointing. On the bright side the new X2 seems to perform as well as the either of my other shocks, hopefully it will be a reliable shock.

What height are you? I might be able to buy a longer dropper..![]()
Exclusive: My First Week with the Velduro Rogue - VETTA Trade
It All Started with DJI Avinox … Everything connected to VETTA Trade and Velduro bikes started earlier this year when the first models equipped with the DJI Avinox drive system began hitting the market.Already last year, when DJI first presented its motor, we said to ourselves: we need to get a...vetta.si
Hi, I'm 186cm. I choose frame size L.What height are you? I might be able to buy a longer dropper..
Thanks mate. I’m 185cm and had a 200 AXS dropper ready to go. Looks like I can go 225!Hi, I'm 186cm. I choose frame size L.
lol ffs eat a bag of dicks. Go work out your dropper length by yourself then go for a ride by yourself. I feel like you would be an expert at doing things by yourself.ffs, is using simple math way to hard on this forum? we know how long dropper posts are, we know the insertion depth of the frame and we know our preferred saddle height. is that sooo hard to calculate on your own!?
I’d rather read about people’s preferred sizing for their height than this 3 post angry rant lol. Relax man, it’s an Internet forum for discussion…ffs, is using simple math way to hard on this forum? we know how long dropper posts are, we know the insertion depth of the frame and we know our preferred saddle height. is that sooo hard to calculate on your own!?
the people i measure up for bike sizing usually differ up to +-4cm in inseam length to the average at their height. that’s a difference in up to 8cm in saddle height.I’d rather read about people’s preferred sizing for their height than this 3 post angry rant lol. I'm in the same boat on sizing between medium or large, I pre ordered large as I'd rather too big than too small.... Im really hoping we can demo something before our frames arrive, spoke to Tim and he said if I decide to change my order it's not a problem. My sweet spot seems to be around the 480 reach mark but I did have a large cube a few years ago with a 460 reach and really enjoyed how playful it was however it wasn't confident inspiring at speed... The thing would manual for days without effort. I do miss the playful nature of the cube but once I ordered a large wild I was sold instantly. Not as playful but so much better at speed and ploughingRogue size med frame (I'm 5'10") and still not entirely sure coming off specialized s4 sizing.
Protection - strategically placed helitape
Fork - fox40 @190mm (may buy a single crown)
Shock - ext e-storia (only part i need to buy)
Drivetrain - Shimano 10 speed linkglide
Cranks - whatever it comes with
Pedals - crank bros stamp7
Wheels - santa cruz reserve mullet
Tyres - conti krypto
Brakes - m820 saints
Rotors - Magura 220 floating
Bars - spank vibrocore 50mm rise
Grips - Revgrips
Stem - spank dm 40mm
Dropper - oneup 210mm
Saddle - Ergon sm enduro
Its the enormous wheelbase im wary of the large. 450mm chainstay (supposedly) +15mm at sag. +8mm additional offset if i use my fox40 will add another 33mm to the already long 1300mm.I'm in the same boat on sizing between medium or large, I pre ordered large as I'd rather too big than too small.... I've not looked at the Atherton sizing, maybe I should. But yes the wheelbase is massive. Do you know if it's based on 29 or mullet setup? Its the enormous wheelbase im wary of the large. 450mm chainstay (supposedly) +15mm at sag. +8mm additional offset if i use my fox40 will add another 33mm to the already long 1300mm.
Im prepared to give their sizing recommendations a try, but yes would very much like to try both.
Using the Atherton sizing calculator brings me much nearer to the med though.
are you for real? the wheelbase is the distance between the axles. maybe try to rethink that again, and then you realize it...Do you know if it's based on 29 or mullet setup?
Not sure it changes. I don't think there is a flip chip in the chainstay?I've not looked at the Atherton sizing, maybe I should. But yes the wheelbase is massive. Do you know if it's based on 29 or mullet setup?
Dude, instead of putting everyone down, why don't you offer helpful advice or just keep doom scrolling. No1 likes a bellend to point out stupid questions, I for one don't claim to know everything but I certainly don't take your dick head approachare you for real? the wheelbase is the distance between the axles. maybe try to rethink that again, and then you realize it...
Thank you for a decent reply. Il check and see where I end upNot sure it changes. I don't think there is a flip chip in the chainstay?
Pick their 170mm bike and put your details in. Comes up with 470mm reach for me. The med rogue is 466mm.

I'd imagine mtb is 100% a solo sport for you. If any of our mates acted like you you'd be cut from the chat group. People are coming here to share information and stoke, why jump on here and start ranting about people with questions?
To follow up I’m about 170cm. However I’m not the best reference for sizing as I’m all over the place with my previous bikes.Built this thing with old parts that have come off many bikes, most recently a Crestline S180.

Mullet bikes can be snappier because of the smaller, lighter rear wheel. Less precession aids in changes of direction. The wheelbase itself doesn't change at all (on a bike if you just change the wheel) as the axle is in the same position. A bike that is 29/27.5 compatible like the Rogue has a flip chip for the different wheel sizes and the change in wheelbase is negligible.Dude, instead of putting everyone down, why don't you offer helpful advice or just keep doom scrolling. Mullet brings the rear wheel closer to the centre of the bike with some frames to make it snappier in handling in the flip chips so correct me if I'm wrong but it's an honest question
Thank you kindly... So we are talking a few mm difference in wheelbase but a difference nonetheless. Like you say it's negligible. I appreciate the time you took to explain a little better.Mullet bikes can be snappier because of the smaller, lighter rear wheel. Less precession aids in changes of direction. Already spoken about couple of pages back, try from post #456 onwardsI have heard there is an issue with fitment of many shocks due to the placement of the charger port can anyone shed light on this?
I'm putting less hope on the most recent TACO trade proposals. If SCOTUS comes through and invalidates the reciprocal Cheeto tariffs, that may get us to that tipping point where US business distribution model starts to make sense. When will these truly be available in the USA?
Thanks.
