will most probably not fit, my fast fenix 2 is the reservoir too long. there is a horizontally oriented reservoir available, i‘d ask if that fits the Ride E too

Already been test fitted to a Rogue. Clears well.

As an American reading through this thread, it makes me feel like I'm stuck at home with the flu while all my buddies are at the bike park having a f*cking blast.
I hear you. It’s worse north of the border. Lots of awesome places to ride, so few options of bikes.

Its the enormous wheelbase im wary of the large. 450mm chainstay (supposedly) +15mm at sag. +8mm additional offset if i use my fox40 will add another 33mm to the already long 1300mm.
Im prepared to give their sizing recommendations a try, but yes would very much like to try both.
Using the Atherton sizing calculator brings me much nearer to the med though.

Edit its actually about 10mm at sag.
The WB is the only thing I’m apprehensive about with regards to this bike. I’m going from an XL 2019 (analogue) enduro bike with a 1266mm to a 1300mm with the Rogue in large. coupled with the extension of the mid pivot, I hope it’s not too long as our trails mostly have very tight, dropping corners. I purchased a 0.5 degree headset reducer to bring it in slightly, but I wonder why they have made the WB so long!

It certainly can be; I think it depends where you ride, what your trails are like and your style of riding.
I'm keeping my Amflow. When it's tight and twisty, or mostly technical climbing, I'll take the Amflow. When it's big hitting downhill runs, I'll take the Rogue, where the longer wheelbase will help.

I'm donating my Merida E160 to my son.

Right tool for the job.

I remember when I rode a 1225 wheelbase and slowly made my way to 1270 over the years. Once you get used it there’s no downside really, only exception is really right uphill switchbacks mostly. My next trail bike will probably be 1290, would love a large Rogue if they shipped to the U.S.. Dh bike is at 1315.

Our grade 5, 6 are both those things in one, they build some amazing steep, technical trails here.
I’ll get used to it and I think the mullet and shorter chainstays will muscle that rear end around the turns.

You’re right, climbing can be cumbersome when the WB is on the longer side. I’m sure the mullet and shorter chainstays will help on the descents.

inho longer cs actually helps with climbing steeps because your front wheel is not rising as easily and you can sit more relaxed

Because i'm a numbers nerd & if the numbers are wrong in my head it will be the reason i'm riding so badly 😆
I whacked the geo numbers into this calculator.

As a reference I used the kenevo sl s4 & it calculated the wheelbase to within 1.8mm of what specialized quote.
The med rogue wheelbase came out at 1255mm vs the quoted 1265mm
The large rogue wheelbase came out at 1278mm vs the quoted 1300mm

So now Im scratching my head as to the discrepancy. Hopefully be able to run a tape-measure over one in the near future.
The only way I can make the numbers work is if they are measured at sag where chainstay grows 10mm & the supposedly 450mm chainstay has already been factored in for the large despite the chart saying 440mm still.

My medium is 1265 unsprung with a 180mm fork.
Feels just as nimble as my Crestline at 1241 🤷‍♂️

interesting real world info. If I increase the a2c to 594mm of a typical 180mm fork the wheelbase calculates as 1260mm (+5mm)

Let me know if you want any other measurements.
How tall are you? I'm 171.4cm (~5'7" 1/2) so I'm just within the Small category, but the geo of the M looks much better to me, based on what I've ridden before. (My medium Geometron G1 feels maybe 20mm too long in the reach; an S3 Stumpy Evo felt way too short; an S4 Levo SL felt like it would be about right with a higher bar; Whyte Kado medium felt about right.)

If it's easy, can you give me actual stack and reach figures?

Are you saying the online chart is showing incorrect geo numbers?
The Kenevo SL has a lot of geo adjustments, but I’d be very happy with their standard numbers as I’ve ridden my neighbours S4.
I was told by Velduro that the chainstays will stay at 440 for at least the first run of bikes and they will look at changing the L & XL to (possibly) 450 at a later stage.

All im saying is the calculator cant make the quoted wheelbase add up based on the other supplied geo numbers. Maybe im making an input error.
My s4 ksl and large rogue are very similar geo wise, same ha, reach, similar a2c fork. The rogue has a 7mm shorter chainstay yet a 13mm longer wheelbase? Doesn't make sense.
The long 1300+ wheelbase is what's putting me off possible upsizing.

I thought the 450mm chain stay length was a go on the production medium frame? Can anyone or Velduro confirm this please?

I’m 5’11” or 180 cm with a 31.5” or 80 cm inseam. Currently, I ride an S3 Kenevo expert, which is a 465 mm reach and a 454 mm chain stay length and a 614 mm stack. I put a deposit down on a medium rogue frame kit. After crunching some numbers, I can run a 210 dropper on the medium, but only a 170 dropper on the large frame.

The 632.5 mm stack height on the medium size rogue frame combined with the updated 450 mm chain stay length is an important number and if they drop the CS length back to 440 mm, I may have to go up in frame size to stay centered on the bike.

Any comments here from Velduro or Rogue owners around 180 cm tall And how they feel on a medium or a large frame set? Just want some insight if I’ve ordered the correct size.

I didn’t go with the large rogue frame size as the wheelbase is massive as well as the reach and stack compared to the numbers I ride now.

Interesting.
The wheelbase is the outlier in the geo chart to myself too.
I wonder if the Velduro UK people on here could run a tape measure over their large for WB?

440mm is always been the number for med. 450mm for large and above.
You sure you have worked out the dropper correctly? Both the med and large full builds come with a 210 dropper which seems right based on my calcs.
