Well at least mine came with protection from the factory… it’s not 100% coverage but the underside of the down tube and rear end all had protection in all of the key wear areas including the inside of seat/chain stays….

Why go back in time?
Bought the ride wrap as well with full coverage. Some parts are a pain in the butt to get on and you cannot simply stick it above the factory foil without it looking awful. I cut the foil at the border to the factory one.. worked out pretty good. Still, the one around the headtube I could not get on. Rest did work fine.
It's the one to buy Booostin'! Look forward to hearing more updates.
PS. Still kicking around the Live Valve shock.

Yes, weighed it after the install, took off the water bottle but have the swat tool waterbottle cage. It's basically 53lb even. A little on the heavier side but its got a motor so not a big deal to me. Could probably save a bit of weight with a different rear shock, but it rides really well. Front end is incredibly planted now.
Need to play with the stack more, lowered it by 5mm after test riding it yesterday. Love the higher front end but it sits noticeably taller up front on trail because there is so much more midstroke support compared to the stock zeb Select+

I find it a bit of a marketing coup that dji managed to create the perception that the motor/battery is dramatically lighter than their competition, by underbuilding the amflows.
For comparisons sake, my size large mondraker crafty xr is 49.5 pounds with the bosch cx gen 5/600wh battery, coil fork, coil shock, heavy mavic alloy e-wheels and dh casing tires. So pretty comparable when considering the 2.2 pound difference in battery weight going to a 800wh.

To be fair the E-druid has an 800watt battery and a High Pivot which adds about 1# too. Most Bosch 600w bikes now come in comfortably <50s.
The Avinox motor system is 1# lighter than the Bosch, essentially offset once you add the weight of a required bashring. If Bosch made the CX-R motor standard and Avinox made a bashring standard, the motor systems would weigh within 50 grams of each other.
I suspect my Antidote with the CX-R motor, once I get it built with dual coil suspension, dual DH tires, pedals and tools on board will be VERY close to 50#s on the dot. Once again, it's gaining about 1# due to the High Pivot.

Weight aside, I must say the packaging aesthetic is miles ahead on the dji compared to the bosch. My mondraker looks like it's got a beer gut. Hence why I had an order in for a druid lite (that's still not here).
It is not the weight that is the selling point although the weight is very competitive at the least
I run the Zeb at 170 and it suits me just fine. Front end grip and balance while climbing even the steepest stuff is all good

I have a mezzer at 170 currently and after a ride to adjust, it’s riding great . I took some of the spacers out from under the stem, but I was previously at 150mm.

Can you elaborate more on how the intend vs podium (or zeb even) rides? Seems like the front end isn’t limiting your ability to pop!
I’m curious too. I have the Podium for about two months now and it’s been incredible. No issues whatsoever. The performance is something out of this world, a whole new level of performance. Fox nailed. Do you have the intend with a 20 mm axle? The Intend been lighter make me wonder where they compromise: lateral stiffness? Front?
I was on the podium prior to this. It was an awesome fork however the seals starting pissing oil after a week of riding on it. I impulse bought the flash 38 while I was waiting to get the podium back from warranty. Apparently it was just a first batch issue and it has been solved with new seals. Just going to sell the fork though as I have the intend now. I got the intend with a 20mm axle since I already converted my hydra front hub to 20mm to run the podium so may as well just keep the bigger axle and maybe a touch more stiffness rather than going back to 15mm.
The intend just turns it up a notch compared to the podium. No bushing bind whatsoever, super supple off the top, and a lot of midstroke support and bottom out/huck to flats like in the video have felt really smooth and composed. I need to spend more time in rougher sections of trail to see how composed it remains while charging through tech. It feels a bit more planted and solid than the podium, but I will need to ride some more tech to actually confirm that. It also weighs about 100g less than the podium. The front wheel feels a bit glued to the ground right now, but should be able to easily make it more lively by opening up compression and rebound a little bit. I'm closer on the damped side right now and it feels great. I'm glad I got a deal on the podium because at retail price, I just don't think it makes sense to get the podium over something like the intend for a few hundred more dollars.

Yeah if you're ever over in eastern oregon/boise area I'll show you some of the good trails around here. I just pedaled my dreadnought v2 around the driveway a little bit with a zeb on it, and the front end is definitely a bit more poppy and light, but I've also been on the ebike for the last 2 weeks so just all around it feels more poppy and light lol. It definitely takes a little more effort to pop around on the intend with the extra weight but its something I got used to quickly.
I also got an intend bandit for the next bike I'm getting, I might pop it on the ebike and see if the 35vs38 mm stanchion/weight difference makes any difference in poppiness or how planted the fork feels
