@Charley. I see that the CEF69 can run a 27.5 rear wheel. What specific items are you recommending to change so as to not mess up the geometry (shock length?) I do not see a flip chip on the frame. I would like to run this in mullet setup as close a 160/160 as possible. TIA.
Looks amazing. I just ordered mine and plan to put on a 170mm zeb fork I have from another bike. Would you be able to measure the head angle with your 160mm? I'm seeing 64.5 degrees in the chart but it looks slacker based on measuring from the photos I can findShakedown ride went well. Suspension feels good. Needed to go back through applying grease, carbon paste, then retorque everything. The carbon creaking was loud. Sure you can definitely hear the m560 but it didn’t bother me or my friends I was riding with. I do not understand. If you put a 27.5 rear wheel on this frame it will slacken the HT angle, steepen the seat tube and most importantly lower the bottom bracket. Normally a bike that can take a 27.5 rear wheel would have a flip chip or something you need to change in order to keep the same geometry from the 29" wheel. I do not understand "weight and measure" you would need to physically change some component to not have the geometry change from one wheel to another. I do appreciate the help.weight and measure

Very cool. There is no information about the geo settings online if you go mullet except that the frame "can take a 27.5". I'm worried about how jacked the geometry will be. Basically we are running the same ratio. 160/150 is the same as 170/160. The 27.5 will lower the BB by 12-14 or so mm. That is a ton. Yeah I know I didn’t have long enough m6 bolts so I put this together where only half the pad was touching. The correct 180-203 adapter is installed now.Looks great! You should check that rear brake alignment though, your adapter is not correct size.

I am running a 2mm offset bushing on the shock to lower and slacken it just a bit. I used a phone app and measured the HTA at 64 degreesLooks amazing. Late response, but I when I overlaid the geometry and pivot points in CAD (trying to eyeball the pixels as best I could), I also got 165 mm travel in vertical wheel travel with a 65 mm stroke. There doesn't seem to be much progression on this frame, (around 15%, if I calced it right?).I find this frame very interesting too. I tried to analyze it in the Linkage X3 software and even with 65mm stroke I don’t get more than 165mm travel. It would be nice to see some charts from the manufacturer.

You could maybe fit in a 210x55 shock with a trunnion adapter, but I calced the wheel travel to be about ~147 mm at most. However, I would think increasing the eye to eye of the bottom of the 205 shock with a 2mm offset bushing, and the static geo wouldn't be affected as much. Roughly, (-6mm reach , +5 mm stack, -8mm bb height, -0.6 deg HT/ST Angle). If you can make something like what GuitsBoy in the "new cef55 frame" thread did with a custom 3mm offset bushing, even better. Roughly, (-5mm reach , +3 mm stack, -6mm bb height, -0.45 deg HT/ST Angle).
A 160 fork would probably be even less slack.
True doesn't seem to be a whole lot of space, would have to remove material from the yoke. - can you confirm the seat post diameter? Manuf says 31.6 but I'm seeing a 34.9 seat post clamp in your photo
- can you confirm the headset diameter? Manuf says 52mm top and bottom but that's not really a standard size, do they mean 56mm?

That’s really hard to say in my opinion and just based on a couple rides. That being said, I don’t think it blows through the travel at all and has a nice ramp up at the end.
