955mm was what @Rob Rides EMTB mentioned in a post so that’s what ordered.. If only going to the motor, seems like it will be quite long.. They make a 780mm wire too. Stay tuned, keep ya posted..

They’re not discontinued, just sold out everywhere in U.S. Pro Bike Supply had gotten some in stock last week, briefly, they were sold out lightening fast. I bought one, or I thought, got an apology email saying it was over sold. Search continues…

Anybody figure out how to access the speed limit menu to change it to 28mph?

I swiped up to get to settings and went through literally every single submenu and can’t find it.

Can someone provide the location Path (like the made up one below?)

Settings —> advanced setting —> brightness —> xxxxxx

Swipe up to access settings menu. Scroll down to speed limit, viola!!

Dammit, this isn’t working. Mabe it’s an accessibility feature to turn off. I’ll try re-setting everything back to default and hopefully swiping down will work

I added two layers of shrink tube to the exposed areas of the derailleur power cord because I didn’t like how dainty and vulnerable it is! The two layers of shrink tube in the two expose areas make the wire much more stiff, and obviously thicker, which makes it almost the diameter of a brake line. (Not flopping around in the wind) It looks much better in my opinion and fills the frame pass through hole better as well.
I also installed Cannondale frame cable grommets as they are much higher quality than the ones provided and I had them from a previous build.
I also didn’t like how the derailleur power wire stuck out by the drop out, which made it very vulnerable for getting snagged. So I installed a plastic cable hold down using a stainless M5-0.80 x 20 bolt that goes through the factory hollow dropout fastener, and the nylon lock nut fits perfectly inside the drop out allen fastener on the inside so you only have to tighten the bolt on the outside, while the inside dropout allen holds the nut from rotating.

Did you bundle the rear brake hose and speed sensor cable into one shrink tube? Speed sensor cable is flimsy and vulnerable.

Beyond that, there's been a lot of discussion with previous Crestline frames needing to install at sag. This is recommended by Sram for some Fram types, not for Cresty's specifically but some people said it was necessary for proper shifting. Im wondering if that's the case for 181's or not?

Hey has anyone noticed the fitment on the display screen is not totally flush. It is definitely good enough to the eye but when you look closely there are small gaps that seem like would let water into the top tube . Not sure if anyone else has noticed this and or found a solution. I was thinking about adding some silicone tape around the display .

I noticed this too. My previous 2023-24 Crestline I added clear silicone to the Bosch screen before reinstalling it. I may do the same on my RS181. I also avoid washing my bikes with water as much as possible. I typically blow them off and wipe them down with Muc Off waterless spray cleaner.

Good catch. Amflow owners have reported same poor display fitment and resolved with various methods, including a rubber band.

Never seen this style of bushings before on the Vivid Air.
How do you remove it? I’d like to reuse the hardware if possibly on a Fox DHX2 Coil shock. Do you just use a big crescent wrench and loosen it? It’s got little dimples on one side and none on the other.

Leave it and buy new hardware for the new shock.
