I recently installed a new Limotec Alpha A1m dropper post along with the Levo’s original Specialized Bridge Comp saddle. While I still prefer my SQlab saddle (which is now on the other bike), this one is less bulky and will undoubtedly be more suitable for trail riding compared to the old one. Additionally, my bum has not complained during my first commutes with this setup.
 
I never knew I needed The Red Hot Chilli Pipers in my life until now.

Bikes washed, serviced and almost ready for Morzine, just waiting on the Burgtec Super Soft Bartender Pro and Josh Bryceland grips to arrive at lunch time to replace the ODI Elite Motion ones that don’t seem to have any cushion to them (demoted to hardtail and jump bikes).
 
Yesterday, I removed the shock to send it to TF Tuned. I packed it all up and weighed it etc to get a postage quote. Then I logged into TFT, to discover that 11th Aug was the first available date, and if I didn't take that it would be the end of August! So I took it, but then decided to put the shock back on so that I could ride the bike. While I was doing this, I couldn't help noticing that the lower shock mounting bolt had some wear. The black coating was worn off the upper facing part of the bolt. It was only 0.05mm (a fraction less than 0.002"), so it was small (in my opinion). When I refitted the shock, I made sure that the bolt was the other way round. Properly greased and inspected at intervals, I might get another four years out of it. :)

PS: The cheapest postage I found for a small parcel 532gm was Royal Mail Tracked 48 (£3.45), but the max compensation was only £150 and there is no option to increase it. I considered buying separate cover, but that was way too expensive. TFT offer to collect for £14, but I didn't fancy waiting in all day. I went with Royal Mail "Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm" for £10.35, but it came with £750 compensation. I can drop it off at the nearest Post Office at a time to suit me. And it gives me an extra day on the bike. :)
 
New brake pads front and rear, brakes bedded in, fully bled. Front brake lever feels great, no issues. Rear brake lever still needs the lever travel adjust all the way back, as though the pads are thin. No adjustment left for when the pads wear. Also, when braking hard, the lever traps one of my fingers. The key give-away was that the lever gets slightly, and I do mean slightly, harder if I pump it.

Just needs more brake fluid in was my view. Plus, probably a few bubbles still in there.

I stood the bike upright on its rear wheel with the lever zip-tied down hard. Left it overnight. When I did a lever bleed, I got 4 bubbles out of it. It made zero difference. It is becoming a nuisance as it is affecting how I ride. So today I did another lever bleed, this time without the overnight faff (which has proved very successful before). I moved the lever body into several different orientation, squeezing the lever repeatedly and rapidly. I even used my electric toothbrush to vibrate the hose and the body. I got another 3 bubbles out straight away, then nothing. It has made no difference. I'm looking for ideas.

It has just occurred to me as I write this, would it make any difference if I wound the lever travel adjust all the way in to the "new pads" position? I can't see why (not required for the front brake), but I'm running out of ideas. Suggestions?
 
After 5,980 km my Shimano 8120 brakes needed new rotors and pads.

Both are 203 mm disks, Shimano MT800 and N03A resin.
The rear rotor was down to 1.48 mm, the pads down to the metal carrier.
The front rotor was down to 1.50 mm, the pads nearly to the metal.

Did a complete mineral oil bleed, cleaned the calipers and put new parts in.
All nice and shiny again and brake like new.
 
New 50mm rise Odub bars ordered to replace my low rise Renthal Fatbars as Morzine confirmed my belief that I wanted my Decoy to have a higher cockpit and I can now do this while also removing some of the existing spacers.
 
Butcher trail 2.4 and Eliminator trail 2.4 with tan walls.
I don't need gravity tires when simmering around in the forest while enjoying nature and listening to birds chirping.

I’m maybe thinking of swapping out the Assagai and DHR that came on my bike for something a bit more faster rolling at some point. Same reasons as you, I don't really need heavy, super grippy/slow tyres most of the time. But no doubt after lots of umming and ahing I’ll just end up fitting 2 DHFs in DD casing like I usually do on all my bikes.
 
Fitted a new rear tyre (e-Wild), all went well...then as I pumped it a portion up the tubeless rim tape tried to escape into the wider world outside, I must of disturbed it fitting the new tyre. Removed tyre again, retaped rim inflated tyre, added the tyre milk (OKO) all good. Refitted wheel....hold on what's this??? Somehow the cable tail from the derailleur hanger had snapped off and only two strands of wire was left after the derailleur cable pinch bolt...bugger, if something happens to the mech when out on the bike I'd be screwed. No problem I had a spare in the drawer of 'things'.....except the new cable had been kinked in multiple places whilst in the drawer, bugger. Much rummaging around later found an old shifter with a cable long enough and used that.
I guessed on less than hour to fit the tyre originally, total time over 3 hours of effing about.
 
Fitted the new AXS Reverb since the old one was worn out and needed a service and since it was 150 it was a bit short for me.
The new is 175 and fits perfectly slammed all the way down.
Love the micro suspension when it's not fully extended and to be able to lift the bike by the saddle since it's air over air.
 
The problem with being off work is that I can’t resist shiny new bits! 😂

Fox X2 on the Marin, quick shakedown ride later for a bigger trip next week. 🤞 These are supposed to explode regularly arent they or is that fixed now?! 😬

Would only go on reservoir down, to avoid the range extender when it’s on.

Do I need matching Factory Forks now?! 🤔
