New 2025 Wild

She is my Wild
wild1_med.jpg

Started as 2025 M20, and became my dream built project. Factory options are Fox 38 fork, and 600Wh battery. After collecting parts from sales during winter, it did born again as my type of trail blasting machine.
As the new XTR is knocking on the door, M9100 components can be found sometimes at good price. Wheels from RCZ newsletter were almost steal at set of this quality. Cranks came from my old bike.

Only short test rides yet, as it's still almost winter here. But I have good feeling, this thing is so fast and still comfortable at lower speeds.

Weight is 20.86kg without pedals. Add 380g for some nice aluminum flats😜 Grips may still change to OneUp grips. I really liked those on my previous bike, as I like OneUp components in general.

After just over 500 kilometers of riding, I noticed some strange cracks on my Orbea Wild frame today. Do you think this is a serious cause for concern? Could it be a cracked frame or just some sort of a cosmetic defect on the bike?🤔

Probably just an example of The infamous shoddy paintwork Orbea seem to be quite happy to put out to its customers. Both mine and my brothers bikes have some bad paintwork defects, Orbea thought it was fine 😡. Will be getting a personalised paint job at some point in the future.

The bike is covered with RideWrap protection, which is undamaged in this area, but a dent can be felt at this spot...

Sadly Orbea quality control sucks, as I had the misfortune to find out. Bikes that cost this much should have impeccable paintwork, but Orbea don’t seem to be bothered.

Anyone know if ext storia v3 or v4, e-storia rear shock will fit my 2025 orbea wild medium ? Thanks

Is the Orbea Wild 2025 already updated to 750W / 100nm from bosch???

I have ordered the 2026 version today... will arrive on September. Motor comes with already applied update and kiosk 400c screen on horizontal tube :D

The M-Team also comes with wireless shimano transmission, nice.

Same bike, same update. Only 750w but no 100Nm 🥴
It took me three updates to get the 100nm. Make sure to first update the Flow app, after that's done restart your phone. Then update the bike software, and after that it took a third update. After that I was able to get both the 750w and 100nm upgrade options shown on the app.

Still the same battery, available colors for 2026?

Anyone know if they will offer Rise 2026 with Bosch motor...?

That's a negative, I've seen the 2026 Rise.
Thank you for replay. That is too bad they don't offer it in Rise....
Looking for full power ebike with bosch gen.5 (800W if possible or 600 + extender) and weight around 20kg...

The 2025 Rise is a full power ebike at 85nm, just not as powerful as the Wild. I work at a shop that sells Orbea, I'm on the Wild and our mechanic is on the Rise. He loves that thing, his weighs in a 46lbs with the big battery and he has zero issues keeping up to me on my Bosch powered Wild on the climbs. And when it comes to the downs it's really hard to stay with him when we're carving the turns. The Rise is a really nice balance with that weight and suspension setup.

My M20 Wild was 22.74 as stock(M size, with Fox 38 and Maxxis DH tire options). Build to about 21kg with pedals, nothing too exotic parts. I believe I would have regretted if I had choose the Rise. Wild is so good do it all bike, unbelievable nimble for how capable it is.

Are specs and colors for NEW 2026 Wild already available?

I have some info, because I could take a look at a dealer's screen while reviewing the 2026 model. The M-Team version comes with electronic shifter (shimano xt8260), kiosk 400c on tube and already updated bosch motor, for a 500€ price increase.

Same colours I guess. I have "pre-ordered" one for september :D

It's already available on the website:

Same colors from what I can see, the M-LTD will come with the new CX Race motor, the three carbon frames will all come with the new Kiox 400 display.

A few cool new things coming with the 2026 Rise though.

And battery, still "old" 750W? Cables through headset?

Can you share more info about new things on the Rise 2026?

Hi all

This is My custom MyO m10 a month old.

The only thing letting this bike down is Shimano. I cannot stand the groupset that’s on it. Rear brake pad and disc vibrations at 15.8mph and above. Cheap feeling XT all over it. 😡

First thing ordered is SRAM Mavens in stealth black. Will replace discs which are Galfer for HS2s and then start on the groupset and wheels.

I’ll list all the parts for sale on this forum (if I’m allowed) bikes done 49.1miles so they’re practically brand new components.

I have the 750wH battery, Bosch gen5 and have 750w and 100nm applied. However I’ve turned it down back to factory settings as it’s powerful enough for me. Turbo mode is insane on 85nm and anything more I feel is too much. Just don’t need more power.

Anyway. Enjoying the bike. Can’t wait for the mavens to arrive Monday and get fitted, get that pesky vibration gone. Shimano sucks IMO. 🙃
