I’m in the same boat as y’all. Took the update but nothing past 85 and no option to update further. It’s a crestline and they are definitely doing the 100nm.

After you do the update. You have to do the motor update as well. The normal update only increases the watts and not the NM. I did the update this afternoon on my Santa Cruz Vela.

I cannot think the brand of bike makes any difference since the entire eco system from app (Flow) to controller is all Bosch. Just strange that so far different guys in various territories whether using Andriod or IPhone are getting different results. I can only think the variations may be different Internet providers.

Really annoying but the only way I could make it work on my Crafy as I had the latest version of the Flow app on my iPhone with latest update as well :

1. Uninstall the flow app
2. Reinstall, 1st update appears. Instal it so now you have the new modes, and possibility to set power to 750w
3. Uninstall the flow app again ( I know...)
4. After installation of the app and pairing of the bike a new quick updated appears with the ridding modes so know you set set the torque to 100 Nm.

Enjoy

Fixed the issue with my bike.

I’m using an Iphone. When I checked the app store for the latest version it said I already had it and as I downloaded it last night I thought I did. The only option it had given me in the appstore was to open it.

When I clicked on the actual logo in the appstore it said I only had 74% of it downloaded. When I clicked that it updated to the newer version.

Opened the app and the option to update the bike through the e bike e bike update in settings was there.

Pretty straight forward after that

Same issue......I forced a check for another update, and it says I am on the latest, and should be able to adjust the max torque. But I can only increase the watts....torque still capped at 85NM.

Update: I went to the LBS. We first tried signing out of the app but that changed nothing. They had to download new shop software from Bosch and hard connect to the controller and then they were able to do the update that increases the torque.

Still no dice for my Crestline motor update, the 750 is great however no 100nm… @Rob Rides EMTB is it true that manufacturers have to approve the update? If so I’ll reach out to Troydon

No issues updating my Vala with iOS. I manually updated the app through App store. The process to update the bike is power it on, open Flow, then tap the gear icon in the upper right corner. There's a check for updates button there, it'll say it's already downloaded the latest version and is transferring it to the bike. Go back to the main screen and watch it slowly do that. After it transfers, there will be a button there to install it. After it installs, the bike will power off. Power it back on, then tap on the gear icon again. There will be a button at the bottom to upgrade your drive unit. Click that, and you're done with all the updates and can start messing with profiles.

Just riding up and down the hill by my house, I found the 100nm torque in Turbo excessive, so went back to 85. As others have suggested, I tuned down Dynamic in EMTB+ by -2. Without that, it felt like the run-on was too aggressive. I could see running -1 if I did a lot of tech climbs where ratcheting would help. For my 4 profiles now, I'm running Turbo (stock), EMTB+, EMTB, and Tour+ (because I found the Eco mode to be basically break even with the weight of the bike).

And how do you do the motor update?
I can't remember exactly what I clicked on for the motor update. I think it was the info button next to the custom riding modes, and then it said I need to update the motor. I know for sure the motor update wasn't through the normal sequence to update the software.
I rode the bike out front and tested the bike with the previous power settings, then the 750w with 85nm, and finally with 750w and 100nm. The street I live on is probably somewhere around 12-15% gradient. To me, there didn't feel like a huge difference going from 85nm to 100nm; the jump in wattage felt the most significant. I was able to climb the hill in 1-2 gears higher with the update and around the same effort. So, it is a big improvement!
Although, I will still be turning the motor down (60nm) after I ride it once with the new power settings.

Go to the e.bike update software section in the Flow app and below there should be a blue tab that will allow you to update the app again. That will give you the 100 nm option after the power has been updated.

Not showing on this image but this was where it was after I did the first update.

I’m working on a bike shop and I can’t get the 100Nm torque option for my own bike, gen 5 motor, neither from the app or connecting the bike to a computer (Bosch diagnostics tool) I do get the 750w which is great, you can definitely feel the difference. Not that it’s that crucial but would be great to have the option to experiment with it.
I sent a report to Bosch and we’ll see how it goes!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but all motors with the part number EB11 100 00E should be eligible for the 100 Nm update. Can anyone confirm this?

My ap doesnt show its got an update, anyone in the US got the update

Sounds correct.
From this article: 100 Nm motor update & new hardware from Bosch

"The big question, though, is how exactly you can tell which motor is in your ebike, Gen.4 or Gen.5? You can’t tell from the outside. Luckily, there’s an app for that. It tells you which motor you’ve got. The following part number must be mentioned: EB11 100 00E. This abbreviation refers to a Bosch Performance Line CX Gen.5.

However, if the part number EB11 100 001 or EB11 100 000 appears in the app, this indicates that this ebike is powered by a Bosch Performance Line CX Gen.4.

This information can be found in the Bosch eBike Flow app in the eBike Pass. Under the menu item ‘Components’, there is a subcategory called ‘Drive unit’. Look there for the information on the part number."

Yes, all the Gen 5 motors are capable of running it, however the bike manufactures can decide whether they want it rolled out to their gen 5 equipped bike or not.

And maybe not all CX Gen 5 motors actually support the 100 Nm upgrade... there's something Bosch isn't telling us
I think that would be unlikely. We started hearing rumors of the update as soon as the gen 5 released so it was always in the pipeline and the motor was likely developed the 100NM/750W specs with it in mind.

Looks like you need to update your Flow app to Version 1.28, anyone know if this is available for android in the UK, I have searched but can't find it.

Should be but seems I never got a drive update
I haven't received the update myself, but other people are saying this:

"After performing the first update to get 750 W, the app shows no further updates. But if you tap the gear icon in the top right and then tap 'eBike update', you'll see a message at the bottom in blue about the power update. Install that update, and then you'll see 100 Nm."
