I like the transparentcy so you can see the carbon weave, but the color isn't for me. Still good to see them doing fun stuff.

Troydon emailed me back.
He does NOT have the SRAM T-type power cable to offer. The frame sets will NOT come with one.

Maybe just check that the spider locknut comes in the set. It might take a while to source if it doesn't. Doesn't specifically mention it in your textual parts list.

Did anybody ever find a one piece chainring or is everybody stuck using the 104BCD spider?
I usually replace something like this for a 100g one piece $80 alloy chainring. Sure steel last longer but most alloy 36t rings will last 3000 miles. Plus I’m a weight weenie

I agree. I sent an email to Troydon asking if it comes with it, but also what tool it requires.
I have a Park Tool BBT18 that I use for my Bosch Gen4 chainring lock nut/ring.

I didn't look, you have to know the Avinox drive spindle/chainline specs. I'd hope they stick to an existing standard like Bosch and in that case you could certianly find a one peice.

FWIW Amflows Avinox uses a Bosch Gen2 lock ring, based on the exploded Rs 181 picture it looks like they'll continue that. But good to ask. Don't we love all of these different standards?! I have so many twice used tools gathering dust.

You're correct, I updated my post. I don't have Bosch expereince, but the is the only difference between Gen 2 and Gen 3-4 the length of the teeth on the tool?

I Did this on my new Trek Rail with Bosch Gen 5. It came with a Steel e13 chainring so save 80-90gI've just ordered one of these for my bosch motor.

That's how I roll. However, some peoples terrain requires multiple hops over logs and rocks and one stuff up can = ruined chainrings. So I get that while not important to me it can be useful for other use cases.

not everyone rides man made flow trails.It’s fun to watch the fresh batch of college students arrive each year and hit the local trails…..City folk flat landers that have never dealt with natural jagged lava rock formations.
I prefer to ride, as a pose to hike-a-bike over the formations. My pedals, cranks, BB, chainring, chain, derailleur, and wheels take a beating…..guess I need to learn to ride better
I do agree with a bash guard NOT attached to the chainring as PLUMMET stated.

That won't fit. It's a special tool. 53mm outer diameter. I bought the last one from this company.

I don't think that will fit. The lockring, which sits flush against the edge of the lockring tool, is definitely 53mm diameter. And the inner teeth diameter is 47.2 mm.
The Bosch lockring is definitely different. The DJI lockring does not have a Left Hand Thread. Maybe someone can be the guinea pig and try it.

Man made Flow trails are my idea of hell

The 50mm refers to the lockring outside diameter, not the tool.
The Bosch Gen 2 tools teeth are as you say approx 47mm inside diameter so will fit the notches in the lockring.
I said the locking was about 52mm diameter previously. I have measured my locking. It exactly matches the tool. I wasn't going to remove my locking to take a photo.
But sure. The teeth on the 50mm Bosch locking could be smaller. But the Park Tool and the Amflow tool, are different. So I am telling people to be cautious, and just get the Amflow Tool if they can.
I can 100% confirm it fits. Rob has also put out a video using the Amflow Tool.
BTW. I also asked Amflow support about the Bosch Tool. And they said to use the Amflow Tool, as any damage from using the Bosch Tool, may void my warranty.

Park Tool usually has their shit together. The ring only needs 25nm, jam a couple screw drivers and long nose pliers in there and you'll be fine.
