Cube one77 2025

My torque wrench doesnt fit to tighten it properly so i have had to use an allen key and guess 8nm :(.... before every ride now i'm going to give it a check.. On mine the 2 hidden bolts was very loose but the others was bang on torque. I'm going to take the whole rear pivot apart and give it the loctite treatment i think.

To be fair, this isn’t unique to Cube, my Trek Rail had the same problem from the shop so I did exactly what Davvee is suggesting.

So how you guys liking it on the jump trails, drops and more enduro style trails?
Would love to see some video's of you riding the bike, as I already watched everything I could find online haha..

These are my favourite type of trails and it rocks.
I use 145mm cranks and dh sidewall tyres and I’m very happy.
A handful of KOM’s on dh biased trails but, more importantly, having an absolute blast.
Where do you ride?
My common haunts are off piste Risca, Brechfa bike park, Nant Yr Arian, Afan Masts and Coed Y Brenin.
A lot of natural, hand cut, gnarly, tech stuff.
No videos though, sorry!

Loving mine. Now all the problems have been addressed.

It handles drops very well.

Hi guys,

Bike is good but with the dhx factory cool i didn’t like IT maybe due to the hydraulic settings (I checked the references of the compression and rebound which are specific on the fox float X2).
I bought a Dhx2 cool which I will try.
Next race this weekend with the bike.
Cranks even in 140mm hit sometimes and the suspensions is completely blocked when I brake sini have to adapt my riding style compare to my previous Heckler.
Try he bike in bike park is good I tried twice on several road gaps jumps etc

Hi, I'm having a noise coming from the shock absorber bolt. After greasing it, the noise goes away, but when I go out for a bike ride, the noise starts again.

What could be happening? Could it be that it loosens a little? I give it the Torque of 14nm.

Use thread lock and torque to spec. That’ll do the trick

Think I did mine to 14nm and the noise went away. It’s been fine since.

I also use a Torque of 14nm. But the only explanation i can find IS that the perno comes loose and that's why the noise come back

It's the one above that's making noise
The bolt is under pressure when the shock has air in it essentially. Take all air out so that it’s not exerting any force on the bolt and then torque it. You get a false torque reading on any bolt that has lateral load applied.

Anyone got the part number for the cable routing under the battery? It’s only thin plastic and mines snapped 😭

Could I run a 190 zeb on my cube? I’ve found a red zeb at a decent price but it’s 190mm that’s all

Putting a longer travel fork in will void the warranty (I understand cube are fairly clear on that), but that wouldn’t be my primary concern. The longer fork will also raise the front end, making things even slacker and rear biased when riding uphill. I’d personally not do it as the One77 already has a short chainstay with MX rear wheel and adding a longer fork will make the front end so light, riding anything approaching steep tech uphill will become very difficult.

About to install XO cranks on mine, I’ll update.

As for a 190 Zeb, I have one, installed briefly, it didn’t feel right at all and I like slack long travel bikes. I believe it can handle a 180mm only and single crown too from what I’ve been told at the local bike shop however that could be nonsense.

Hey
My top battery bolt become completely undone, and fell out.
Does anyone have a diagram of how it should be installed? There are 2 spaces there, and I cant figure out how to access it as the lock is in the way.

There’s two or three (can’t remember exactly) T10 torx screws holding the Abus lock mechanism in place. Take them out and the lock out and it’s a lot easier to see what’s going on and access things. I did this as the bolt had become loose (but not undone) on mine, so I wanted to add thread lock and re-tighten (stitch in time saves nine stylee). As I recall. the plastic frame the bolt went through could be easily ‘flexed’ outwards to access things.

Hi everyone
First time post here. I've been lurking in this thread for the last two weeks & want to thank everyone for sharing their experiences of owning this bike.
I've pulled the trigger & got myself an SLX model which is my first E bike. Been riding a Specialized Status for the last five years.
Got my bike delivered on Friday & have spent the weekend setting it up.
Based on frequent comments about the low BB, I have fitted a pair of Pinnd 145 mm cranks & I've upgraded the shock to a Fox X2 which was originally destined for the Status.
I've not ridden it yet as the weather has been dire for the past week & the trails are minging. Got Ride Wrap on order so will get that applied to the frame first.
This spec of the bike is excellent value considering the cost of most E bikes nowadays.!

Here's a few pics. Can't wait to ride it.

Does it feel weird riding with short cranks? Can you still pedal properly to the top?
