One of the main reasons I'm going for crestline. Different battery options. With 400wh i can get close to mid power weight.Good work from Crestline! More manufactuers should take note
I think I may have got the last RH-2 frame they had, I placed my order and checked back a few hours later and it said they were sold out. There’s a few shops in the US with frames in stock, I know Fanatik has one in each size. If they would have sold out my backup plan was to do exactly what you’re doing, buy the S180 and part out the things I didn’t want.Oh yeah,
It was the bike i wanted before the Pole Voima. Now i'm getting an S180. RH-2 MX
Going to do the following to it
Sell the T-Type asx, Maven brakes, DT swiss wheels and vivid air shock.
Replace with XT link glide. Xt brakes, Envy foundation wheels and custom local manufactured coil shock. Handle bar with be changed out to a carbon one up and +5mm headset.
Why do all this buying and selling? Frame only was sold out, so complete build and swap out parts was the only option.
I've spec'd 600wh and will also get a 400wh battery.
I'm looking to get the bike down to 21.5ish kg with the 400wh to get close to mid power weight.
Most of my riding on the Pole was sub 50% battery usage (750wh battery). So I figure i can take that weight savings and run a 400wh for most of my riding. Then on big park days, I'll have the 600wh and be able do a battery swap mid right and get a 1000wh day.
Are you running 160 or 170mm mode? 51lb 23.2kg is heavier than i expected. Then i look up the push fork and thats 2.8kg So 500gram heavier than the zeb and the coil shock will be a similar heavyness. Are you running DD or exo casings?51 lbs coil front and rear with pedals. Rh2 mx 600w

I looked at resellers to supply the frame only. But they had 800hw battery option which i don't want and didn't offer shipping to NZ. Plus i preferred to purchase directly from Troydon for any possible warrantee issue's that may occur. Then i would be dealing directly with the owner.I think I may have got the last RH-2 frame they had, I placed my order and checked back a few hours later and it said they were sold out. PS How does the push fork perform? Also why not run a push in the back too?
170 fork / 160 frame. I'm not a heavy guy (155 geared). Weight is pretty much what I expected. The LS160 spec is listed roughly at 48lbs and adding coil to the fork and shock is an extra 2lbs. WAO convergence wheels aren't light either. DD rear and EXO+ front.
I love the push fork, tracks well, plush, and decently poppy (less than a 36 but better than a 38). Unfortunately, push doesn't make an 11.6 tune and some guys on the facebook page have noted the 11.6 doesn't fit the shock tunnel.
SV8 will fit but it is a generic tune and I would need my suspension guy to tune the shock. Troydon had vivid coil's already tuned for the crestline and was able to give me good deal. I'm a big push fan boy but from past experience the Vivid/SDU coil is an excellent coil shock for the money. Plus the red coil is a nice touch to the matching cascade link.

I didn't see anything but didn't go looking. Sucks people can't keep their mouths shut but I know it's all about the clicksI saw that last week.
But after I saw Rob posting about it and various others reposting his post I thought the word had gotten out and it was ok.
Did you see Rob’s post or was that deleted as well?
I figured if Rob was posting and it was all over Facebook on Sunday he had Troydon’s blessingI didn't see anything but didn't go looking. Sucks people can't keep their mouths shut but I know it's all about the clicks![]()
Sorry that was directed at Rob, not you. I'm sure he had Troydon's blessing insomuch as Troydan had to give up keeping to on the down low anyway...I figured if Rob was posting and it was all over Facebook on Sunday he had Troydon’s blessing
I posted it for one reason because it’s exciting.
I don’t care about clicks lol
I believe it's the sticker that is on the down tube near the upper shock mount. Can someone tell me where to find the serial number on my S180? Need it for insurance purposes but can’t find it.
Thank you, it’s pretty discrete but there it is.I believe it's the sticker that is on the down tube near the upper shock mount.
