TeeWing Flux idler wheel offset

Has anyone who owns a TeeWing Flux do anything about the 3-4mm offset off the idler wheel to the outside of the chainring? Anyone thought of spacing out the chainring , to make the chainline straight? I believe it would help increase chain life , considering the short distance between the idler and the chainring, and the torque applied by the M2S.

Not sure if you've already seen it, but there was some discussion on this topic in the last few pages of this thread, starting with post #679 by B Rabbit:

Various methods were discussed, involving using spacers between a spider and ring setup, but that was complicated by some users having fitted direct mount rings, so I am not aware of any field reports yet. There is also some discussion in this thread about derailments and chain jamming at the idler, and if realigning the chainring would help, which might be interesting info for you as well.
