Levo Gen 3 Specialized Gen 3 2022 Levo Megathread!

The expert has the Performance Elite, the Pro/S-Works have the factory version. Only difference between the 2 is the kashima coating on the factory version, everything else is exactly the same.
Thanks but I get that.
It's just that the description @j.e. posted above is of a Performance shock and AFAIK none on the gen 3 Levos came with a Performance X2.
Never the less, I'm still very much interested in seeing the Fox description for a gen 3 Levo Float X2 Factory.

My buddy's Levo Expert (gen 3, purchased last Dec) has a Performance X2. LSC/LSR only, no HS adjusters.

Come on guys, someone here must have an X2 Factory on their gen 3 Levo.
I'm planning an upgrade on my Levo Comp from a Float X to an X2. Just want to make sure I get a shock with a close enough internal tuning on it.

I basically gave the factory X2 that came on my Pro away, it blew up twice within 75 miles. It’s probably the last shock I’d “upgrade” to but if you’re dead set on it just get it custom tuned.

don't do that, tune your Float X, but don't put an X2, it's just a headache, just sadness when everything seems to work just fine, it has problems.....

I prefer the EXT E-Storia coil with Cascade long travel link, what a difference!
But I am curious how you like the new Super Deluxe Coil with the hydraulic bottom out control, for half the cost of the EXT!

No worries, I've come to my senses since, mainly because of the following:
1) Spoke to Fox Service and it didn't sound like they were overtly promoting the idea of switching over to the X2. Instead, I was advised to put in a bigger volume spacer in my Float X for better mid-travel support.
2) Doesn't look like I can recoup any money for my Float X which is ironically a solid performer with excellent reliability track record.
3) There is no solid indication that 2024 updates to the X2 have turned it into a reliable unit.
So for now. I will hold off and continue to enjoy the Float X. With some luck, I may get a chance to test ride an X2 equipped
Levo to see if the benefits would actually justify the expense and potential headaches.

Whatever shock you end up getting, I would recommend getting the dhsign~
FixShox 20mm bushing for the frame/shock mount.

I blew up my old x2 within 4 rides. I've had a 24 x2 for around 4 months now and its been fine reliability wise

There is none.

Guys, when is maintenance due on a 2022 Turbo Levo?

I have about 900 miles on mine. I feel like the forks are.. noisier with big impacts, then they used to be. Kind of like a shifff shiff sound. I don't know if that means anything. But when are you supposed to service the forks, shocks, and what about all the bearings?

You can find Fox service information here.

I fitted this at the weekend to my new Levo:

I bought it from Tredz. Fits well:

Renthal bars
Nukeproof stem (or Renthal)
XTR 12 speed
Magura MT Sport Trail (4 piston F+R)

So far I’ve done a few rides, bike is extremely capable and fun to ride. So impressed with so many aspects of it. My little brother has similar background and has had the S-Works Levo for about a year. Now I know what the hype is!

Where did u get the decals?

Range test for my one year old 22 comp alloy.

Basically 9 hilly road miles to the trail and 9 fire road miles up. Then back down.

Ran ECO 30/100 entire time.

Here's the battery usage.

That’s a decent ride. We might be neighbors. Lol. Was in similar area and finally saw a Mountain Lion for the first time Aug 19th. Only took video, no stills, so doesn’t show up on the relive. Let’s see if this works.

Actually, do videos work here? Nope, guess not, here’s a little screen shot

Is that Whiting Ranch?

I saw the parking lot was closed.

I live at Alicia and Olympiad.

It is a 29" fork, what I mean is that the wheel has this.View attachment 120601
Hopefully I’m not replying too much, just got the Levo and now flipping thru this thread. I put different wheels on mine, and was planning to sell the stock ones, but then decided to keep them as a second set. Sure enough, they won’t fit my Fox 38. The specialized part is sold out everywhere and no ETA in sight. Reached out to some connections I have and found a machinist to modify mine.

Ya. We were on way back after luge to whiting. I’d say a mile or 2 away from Wahoos parking lot. We let everyone know on way up to just be aware. We were all on e-bikes and although I’m not stupid enough to think I can outrun a cougar, it was moving pretty slow and going across the trail and into the wilderness. That being said, several groups of 60+ yo ladies with walking sticks headed that way. Easy pickins
