Hello everyone,
The AXS derailleur on my 2022 Gen 3 Comp Alloy finally crapped out and I am seriously considering a reverse conversion to a cable actuated derailleur.
Looking at the specs for Alloy vs Carbon nylon cable guide sleeves it appears as if the Alloy cable guide doesn't run full length..
Can anyone describe how the derailleur cable guide is configured on a alloy frame so I can better assess what I'm getting myself into? Obviously, the shifter cable housing was removed at the time of AXS conversion.
I would also appreciate any tips on how to run a new cable housing through the frame and chain stay without a lot of frustration.
TIA
