Sorry, not us. Though nothing would give us greater pleasure .

Your enthusiasm has actually led to the creation of the forums first full time employee position, tasked with monitoring and upgrading server hard drive space as required. Sadly, she's off sick at the moment with RSI and fatigue.
You no idea how much that pleases me ..the fact that in these hard times I've actually been personally responsible for someone finding gainful employment ..Great news !?

You did well there, Hodge, I didn't fall asleep once! ? Probably because the last one scared me and the cat! ;)

To be honest, looked like a cracking day!

So these Cheviots, Hodge. Are you riding on marked bridleways/footpaths that are clearly marked or is it a case of go where you like within reason?Obviously you know them well, so that helps. What I mean is, how easy would it be to get lost if you didn’t know the area?

Obviously local knowledge helps a little ..but every bit of yesterday's ride was on legal bridleways ..the relevant landranger map for the area also helps ..I can also help to point you in the right direction when I remember to record the full route..( paused and forgot to un-pause Viewranger after having my sarnie yesterday ?)..but this should give you a good idea..
Screenshot_20210413-045823_ViewRanger.jpg

On the map above I followed that bridleway hugging the Usway Burn from Fairhaugh down to Shillmoor
..also ..as I've mentioned more than once before ..if you are coming to the area and I'm free that day I'm more than happy to ride with you ..not in any pro-guide capacity ..but as a mate showing another mate a new trail ..
I'm usually riding a couple of days out of three ..( sat / sun / mon ...?

You are indeed a lucky boy, living where you do. (envy face).

Where is that massive valley near Medomsley exactly? I ride near to that area most weeks and I've not seen anything as glorious as that view before ?
The valley view is from the top of High Cup Nick and the Waterfall is Cauldren Snout. Rode from Cow Green reservoir via Cauldren Snout, High Cup Nick, Dufton return.

I've started that ride a few years ago on a blisteringly hot summers day from Garrigill..with 4 other mates ..we had a pint in the pub at Dufton which was a huge mistake as we all ran out of water and were suffering from dehydration at the end
We called in at the pub in Garrigill at the end ..all of us with 1000yd stares and hardly enough energy to raise our glass to our lips ..one of the toughest rides ever undertaken !
